People still watch ESPN?

 

He's a big time Bills homer...and has never hid it. At least he's honest about his being partial.

 

ESPN only talks about what's trending, they don't care about sports news, just trends now.

 

I hope today gives them plenty to talk about next week as in"How did they pull off an upset?"

To be honest, the Dolphins haven't done much on the field the past five years to be talked about.

ESPN spent a lot of time discussing Bullygate last year, but if the Dolphins want them to spend more time discussing their play on the field, the team actually has to perform on a level which makes them interesting to the rest of the nation.

The Dolphins have had terrible attendance at home in recent years and TV viewing for Dolphin games in the home area has had low ratings, compared to other teams in the NFL. I am sure ESPN is aware of the lack of interest regarding the Dolphins in recent years and therefore they don't feel the need to discuss the Dolphins very much.

To change this attitude by ESPN and many others in the other national media, all the Dolphins need to do is put a winning product on the field consistently.I have no doubt the Dolphins will become a topic of discussion by ESPN and others in the national media once they become a winning organization again. Until this happens, they don't deserve a lot of discussion by the national media.

No one, including ESPN discussed the Seahawks when they were a mediocre team, but now they get plenty of attention by the national media.

 

The better question is why are you still watching NFL Sunday Countdown?

 

Um yeah, it's unavoidable as they have majority rights on broadcasting live games in all sports. Now if your question is do people still watch Sports Center / NFL Countdown, then no. It's the same three topics and a bunch of cackle in between.

But just as bad as Sports Center / NFL Countdown is on covering all teams, CBS and Fox are just as bad. The CBS crew is always sucking Bill Cowher's balls and it has become the Pittsburgh Steelers Show.

 

Outside of the wildcat year, we've been irrelevant for almost a decade. Winning will take care of everything. We can make a statement today by beating the media darlings aka the Patriots.
