I doubt it. We may take a WR at some point, but it's not as pressing a need as some might think. We really don't need a #1 WR, we just need our players to continue to develop and hopefully find a big redzone target. So WR at #25 is unlikely IMO.

The draft just can't get here fast enough!

I seriously doubt BP will allow JI to take a WR #1. Besides, we have bigger needs on defense.

BP has taken two WR in round one. It's not likely but it could happen. And I think those pictures were higher.

Considering any WR we take at 25 won't be worth that pick, no we won't.
Hicks and heyward are reaches at 25 -
Well find out in about 50 hours.

I think Pettigrew is far more likely. Next year we might trade up to take Dez Bryant, but only if our team is relatively settled and we just need a playmaker to do a run.

But look at it this way, these past few months have been the most important in his NFL life and he let himself go. That's going to raise at least some red flags. As one NFL scout said...
"He looked like a fat tight end not a lean receiver. . . . He’s got to have a weight problem. This is the most important few months of his life and he gains a ton of weight. I don’t get it. Many scouts and coaches went away very disappointed."
True he was nursing a tweaked hammy, but there are other ways to stay in shape. He very well could go in the 1st, I'm sure not every team is going to be scared off by his gain, but as the quote above showed, it did register with a few scouts. -
WR is a possibility depending on who is left on the board at CB and DE/LB.
If a premier CB and or a DE/LB is left on the board at 25 do they pass them up considering the Dolphin's needs at those positions?
Either way it will be an interesting draft and it can't come soon enough. -
The reason Nicks gained weight was because he screwed up his leg, he lost the 15 pounds from what I've heard.
God no. -

I don't understand while everyone wants Pettigrew at #25... Sure he is a safe pick and an great blocker, but I think Fasano is a decent (or at the very least an above average blocking TE) and Martin isn't that bad either. Yeah, Fasano and Martin's contracts come up next year, but that is next year and if we do lose both of them we can address that need next year. I know we are planning for the future and all that, but if we pick Pettigrew at #25 it would almost be like we are picking scared.
I wouldn't be overly upset if we grab him at #25 because we would be getting decent value with him. That being said I think there are similar TE's in this draft that we could get later on Shawn Nelson from Southern Mississippi comes to mind. They landed Jason Witten in the 3rd round in Dallas, maybe Parcells can work his magic one more time and get us a solid TE in the mid-rounds. -
I dont know why he would when he can probably get anquan for the pick.
What if all this receiver talk is all smokescreen to see if someone will jump up and make us an offer we cant refuse, if nobody does, we trade with arizona for boldin, hmmm, a little interesting no? -
You kidding? Parcells a receiver at 25? Doubt it.
