I think they judge who get's a spot on MNF from how well they did the previous season, and I think we've done well enough to do that. We've improved so much over the last season and beaten some good teams, but lost to a few as well. Any chance we'll finally be on MNF again? I believe we have the record for the most appearances.:knucks:

I will go out on a limb to say we get at least 2 MNF games next year. One of them will definitely be against the Pats.

I'm going to bet the first game vs the Pats will be on Monday night. If not, it'll be Sunday night. I guess what I'm saying is, it'll be in primetime.

That's a rivalry game for sure now. Plus they'll have plenty of soap opera angles to play up.

Oh, and it'll definitely be at Gillette. Gotta do everything you can to ensure Tom Brady's return to primetime is a glorious one. ;)

ESPN will fellate the NFL for the pats vs. dolphins so they can bring out the melodramatic build up to it, replaying the fight for every one to see.

This is in additional to the normal fellating the Entertainment, Sports and Patriots Network already does.

Im very confident will probably have 2 prime time games. I also will probably guess that they both will be divisional games.

Absolutely, we will get some prime time love. I'm guessing at least 1 Monday Nighter, and possibly 2 Sunday night spots.

Hopefully no Thursday games though... If I get screwed by the NFL Network again I'm going to kill someone.

Id rather have a sunday night game instead of a monday nighter. I can tolerate listening to Michaels and Madden... i cant for the life of me watch MNF with ESPN's joke of a broadcast crew...

Might even get a thanksgiving day game against the cowboys. A lot of connection there.

The more of a winning season we have this season, will translate into more prime time games next year.:hi5:

We're going to have a pretty tough schedule next year, so I'm sure there will be great matchups. Should get about 3-4 prime time games. Let's all remember NFL Network's addition to the prime time scheduling.

Honestly, I think the "Wildcat" hype alone secured at least a prime time spot or two next year.

But looking ahead, someone in the AFC East (playing the same group of teams) will lead the league in prime time games next year. I mean, look at the matchups for Miami:

    New York Jets (8-3)
    New England (7-4)
    Buffalo (6-5)

    Houston (4-7)
    Indianapolis (7-4)
    New Orleans (6-5)
    Tampa Bay (8-3)
    @ New York Jets (8-3)
    @ New England (7-4)
    @ Buffalo (6-5)

    @ Jacksonville (4-7)
    @ Tennessee (10-1)
    @ Carolina (8-3)
    @ Atlanta (7-4)

+ same place finishers from the AFC North and AFC West.

Bold = currently above .500; that's 12/14 games on the schedule with teams 6-5 or better right now.

    Wow, that schedule looks BRUTAL.

These teams are all solidly built too, should be around the same level next year barring major injuries. Not looking forward to next year's schedule.

If only we could have switched this and next year's schedule...

the good thing about the schedule though is that most of our games are played in the same general area. The south east. All 8 of our home games plus at Atlanta, Carolina, Jacksonville, and Tennessee. So at least it's not a lot of traveling.

But our schedule is looking tough as can be for next year.

Def some Prime Time next year. Pats for sure, maybe a Jets matchup as well.

I think Miami gets 3-4 primetime games next season. One game that I do think will be on primetime is the Dolphins-Falcons game.

    Back in Miami
I would think we'd get at least one now.
I mean someone needs to fill all the Primetime spots the Browns were given this year.

You'd have to think the Pats/Phins will be slated for a Prime Time spot after the intensity of the 2 games and the fight.
Also I believe Miami will be one of those teams some make their "sexy" pick for 2009 which brings Primetime attention as witnessed by all the Browns Primetime games as mentioned before.

I sure hope we get some spots next year. Some of the games that are on this year are almost pointless. I think we've earned a primetime spot.

And you're right bluegrassbubba, I can't take another Pittsburgh game, they have a night game every other week.
