Grown weary of the backs that have come out of Bama in recent years tbh.

Melvin Gordon is the only back I'd take in the first with no hesitation.
Aside from that I'm looking at offensive line prospects or a WR personally.
I'm a HUGE fan of CB Quentin Rollins. In his first year playing college football after transitioning from Poiny Guard on the basketball team he has looked flat out amazing. Depending on his combine he could go anywhere from the second to fifth. Someone will take a chance.
I also think Denzel Perryman may fall to the third if his combine numbers aren't decent. I'd take him at that point. -

Michael Bennett, DT, Ohio State.

OL unless its addressed in FA. Then wr or pass rusher (huge year for pass rushers)
-
However I expect him to have a great cone drill and vertical. I'm hoping third round. -
look at how our team has crumbled with the decline of our Oline. guard wouldn't be my first choice at #15, but if the best guard in teh draft is available, I'd consider it. my first choice would be to get a CB or LB.mlb1399 likes this. -

I'd be ok with LB, TE, S, CB, DT or a big, physical WR. Maybe an OG if he has the potential to be elite. -
Which is why I wouldn't draft any of those positions high unless it was a flat out stud like Suh for example.
CB and LB are fine to me honestly. However I'm more a proponent of taking offensive players early. Its generally those skill positions you need to draft well for because they don't really hit FA. -

My ideal three round draft is something like
1) Melvin Gordon (Only HB I'd take in the first two rounds)
2) Denzel Perryman
3) Q. Rollins
Or you can try anf be sneaky by taking Gurley later when he falls. But you're probably committed to less than a full season if not IR with him. -
I don't think true BPA really exists antway because its all subjective. -

There is also another thing to consider IMO. That is how deep the draft is at each position. I mean lets pretend we assign some fake ratings here on our draft board.
My two best players are a WR ranked a 92 and a TE ranked an 89. However I have 4-5 other WR I think will be available later ranked between 83-87, but my next TE is a drop off to a 76.
I'd be more inclined to take the TE early even though he may be slightly less of a prospect than the WR. If both positions are needs I mean.
I guess my overall point was just BPA may be too vague a term for the draft these days when so much resource is put into scouting and roster building.gunn34 likes this. -
Team needs playmakers on both sides of the ball. RB position is too undervalued to take one in the first round, maybe Melbin Gordon might tempt some and rightfully so, but you can also get a very productive back in the 3rd round as well.
IMO the 1st round pick should be a WR or LB. Shaq Thompson/Vic Beasley/Denzel Perryman or Amari Cooper/Kevin White/DeVante Parker. -
Dorial Green-Beckham or Devin Fuchness are the two big physical WRs we should look at. Could maybe hold off until 2nd round if either is still there, but I'd rather take a G in the 2nd, and this draft isn't deep at WR. Mario Edwards or Alvin Dupree would be nice DEs to add but its a very deep draft for DEs. A lot depends on what we do in FA.

Miller is OK but Devin Johnson is a big punishing back 6 foot 1 245 pounds and runs in the four fiveshey dude can flat out run we need to draft as quarterback to Rakeem Cato to compete with tanny and be his backup at least for the first year
