Would not be surprised at all if the dolphins lose by 30+. then again it wouldn't surprise me if the dolphins dominate today, albeit, less likely.

 

I don't think we're very good so nothing would really surprise me, especially a blow out loss.

 

It's not easy to see which team will show up in this as both have been up and down and under perform all to often.

 

I mean we're not a good team...

 

It's funny how we talked in the offseason about the stadium renovations giving us a home field advantage again. It feels like 75% of
our games are on the road! Going to London is stupid! Having a short week Pats road game is horrible. We were teed up to lose this year.

You're spot on. So far this will be Miami's 9th game and only "2" will have been played at home = 22.22% of the games.

I thought coming into the season the schedule was brutal but not much was made of it.

 

There were always going to be difficulties but Miami had a great chance to start the season 6-0 had they done they're job so they get no sympathy from me. If ever there was a year during which they've could've built momentum early and gone into December with some motivation this was it.

 

It feels like it because it is! Week 10, and we've only had two home games. Had we won a few of these along the way, we'd be set up really well with 5/7 at home the rest of the way.

I want to win, of course. But with all of the problems and holes we have on defense now, especially with Grimes out today, if the offense steps up and plays well in a loss, I'll still walk away from the game feeling ok.

Brent Grimes is inactive. :confused1:

 

I was actually feeling a little confident coming into this game. Now? Not so much. Grimes has not been playing well as of late, but he is still better than any other CB we have on the roster.

 

I just heard on ESPN that Grimes is inactive today. He wasn't on the injury report this week, so it must be a late injury or the Dolphins just want to see what their young secondary can do for the rest of the season.

Grimes played terrible last week, so this move really doesn't surprise me.

agreed. I just changed my pick in my office pickem pool. While I still think our offense has a big day, I'm not sure our defense will be stopping anyone.
I wish this damn coaching staff would just start Jordan Philips already. We need that future combo of Suh/Phillips to start today. F*&K the growing pains.

 

If we are to win, Landry needs to be at his best offensively and on special teams. I actually do see the Eagles tearing us up, sadly.

 

If i would have known Grimes wasn't playing, I would have traded for Bradford on my fantasy team. Yikes, that could get ugly.

 

Sproles worries me. That's about it. We should compete.

to be honest, I expected us to cover the 6 point spread. I never thought Eagles were that good, hell i even took them and the Avalanche ML parlay for a nice payday because I think the Eagles are so overrated.

Charector building win today, HUGE. This was a grind it out game and there were SO many opportunities to just break. We did bend but we sure as hell didn't break. Suh was an ANIMAL out there today. Absolutely dominant. As well As Reshad Jones! In my opinion the guy should be in talks for DPOY. He's been phenomenal all year! Pay that man!
