It was 62-7. That was my saddest moment. I watched that entire game.

 

I dont know about saddest, the most pissed Ive been is when Wanny and Norv blew the perfect opportunity to win the division in 2002 when they lost to NE after leading by 10 in the final 3 minutes of the final game of the season... I punched the friggin wall I was so pissed..

 

Gotta go with that Jacksonville loss, it was simply crushing. What hurt more is that it was both JJ and Dan's last games as Fins. I would say that this loss was a tipping point for our franchise. We've never really recovered from it.

I think the saddest was Ronnie going down this past year, however losing 62-7 to the jags was a lower feeling.

 

Man I hated that game!!:angry: Being a teen at the time, that one affected me the most. Not only did I stay up past midnight on a school night:lol:, but the next day (after getting no sleep 'cause I was soo mad), everyone (including my FB coaches) were raggin' on me :deadhorse:knowing what a huge Phins Fan I was. Especially my buddy Chris-who was a Bills fan. It was a VERY bad day. :glare:

When Shula announced his retirement on our birthday, Jan. 4th. And, of course Dan. The way he was treated. And now Zach. I may start cryin' again. :sad:

that 62-7 loss to jacksonvill was a nightmare i watched every single second of that ****ing game my therapist said it was one of the reasons for my mental disorder

 

Yeah. Through all of the arguing with people about his greatness and his place among the other greats I've convinced myself he was easily as good as any of them. During those debates I usually find a middle ground and don't push for them to agree with me that he was THE greatest ever. But there is little doubt in my mind he is one of the best players to ever step onto a field. I just wish I could have seen more of him.

 

The first thing that comes to mind is watching Zonk, Jim, and Paul quit and head to the WFL. If that doesn't happen we win, at least, 2 or 3 more Super Bowls. For all future players it really started what we now see with what players get payed. I would bet alot of the guys today don't even know that but it's true. Zonk opened the flood gates with that Million dollar payday. I can't remember just who the defensive players were but they called Shula and used the threat of leaving (they weren't going anywhere) to get a raise from 17,000 to over 90,000. It may have been Nick but I'm not sure. It sure was a sad day for Miami fans though.

 

When Shula was forced out was my worst memory. Two very close ones are Marino's retirement and Zach leaving. Oh , while Im on a roll ,I really hated when they changed the stadium name from Joe Robbie.

Chris Chambers being traded was super tough on me. He was definitely my favorite player from his rookie year on. I'm younger than some of you guys too so I didn't get to see as much as Marino as I'd like. I do, however, have the exact date that Marino retired on. March 13th, 2000. I wrote it on my bedroom wall when he retired.

Ricky Williams retirement hit me pretty hard too. I really liked him, as a player and person up to that point.
62-7 (Though I was glad it was the end of Jimmy Johnson, however Wanny taking over quickly ended any consolation that gave me)

As Griddle pointed out it was on March 13th. I thought it was odd that the greatest #13 in history retired on the 13th, which just happened to be my birthday. I know I cried that day. I don't think any other Fins moment has made me cry. The game against the Pats in 02 or Ricky retiring just made me mad.

 

62-7 by far... couldn't talk to anyone that day.

Second place would be those three passes DW called for Fiedler vs the Pats in that great Ricky season.

The debacle in NE in 02 really hurt. That 02 team was the best all around team we had in Miami since the mid 90's.

We beat the eventual AFC champion Raiders pretty easily(that offense was perfect for our defense) not to mention Ray Lucas coming in in the middle of the year and single handidly costing us games(BUF)

That team couldve really made a splash in the playoffs but we will never know and that hurts the worst.

Stoyo missing that kick....UGH...that was one of our better teams under Danny. We had a very legitimate shot that year to win. Made me ill.

The one Wanny game had to be losing to the Pats last day of the season..up by 11..5 mins to go...going from a possible #3 seed to out of the playoffs in a blink of an eye. Took me awhile after that one:sad:
