I love Sci Fi movies...have never really enjoyed reading it..with the exception of John Steakleys "ARMOR"..I got talked into reading it by a friend and I have to say it might be the best piece of fiction I have ever read..and I've read a LOT.

Im just throwing it out there because when ever I see the words "Sci Fi" it pops into my head.

Yeah the original was much better than the trilogy. Hoping to grab it once it comes out on BR, believe they had already released on HD-DVD.

 

see, I felt the original sucked.. failed to follow the book. As a theater guy, I also liked the scenes they set up in the trilogy.. the lighting was very "live theater" like.

 

I've only seen the first one of the trilogy, maybe need to see the other 2.

 

The 1984 movie with Kyle MacLachlan and Sting.

 

that one stunk it up.. the SciFi trilogy actually follows the book and does a pretty good job of casting, IMO. Like I said, I watched it yesterday just for grins.

 

Maybe my liking of Patrick Stewart clouded my judgement :sidelol:
