May be a good opportunity to see what you have in Carroo and Grant. Maybe one gives you enough hope as far as the pending decision with Jarvis, who knows.

 

Its good to see Jesse Davis out there. If and when Eric Smith is healthy, I liked him in the preseason. I am ready to see Asiata gets some snaps too, though he probably is not ready. When AJ Derby is up to speed, I would love to see him. Doughty and Fales not so much. As bad as the QB play has been, I'd imagine there would be an even greater drop off

 

Very upset we lost Lippet & McMillan. This was Lip's year to breakout and Kwon is a LB prodigy.

 

I agree. Lippet is underated and Kwon could be an a solid MLB for years to come. Add that RT got hurt also, we lost three possible solid starters before we got out of the gate. Disappointing even now thinking about it

 

At this point if you are afraid to put them on the field they probably shouldn't be holding a roster spot.

 

Gase isn’t going that route. i suspect he wants to somehow show everyone it’s not over. i day we get 2 more wins and screw outselves out of a high draft choice.

Would really like to see more Carroo - we need to know what we have there. That said, quite possible the coaches base their eval wholly on practice and have already made a determination on him and how he will fit in the WR corps.

Spending those picks on a mid-round wideout was a huge error. Don't get fixated in the mid rounds - stick to the board, see what floats up, take calls from the desperate.

 

How bad is Asiata that he can't get on the field?

 

I'd like to see brendel get more playing time. We need to move on from pouncey, and I'd like to see if we already have his replacement on the roster.

I'd have liked to have seen Maurice Smith out there in a 3 safety package, but his injury killed that chance.
