Has a qb throwing to him with 2500 yds, 16 Tds 13 Ints and an 80ish rating.
This guy is well over 55% of his QBs production.
Yeah, who needs a bum like this...Glad we got 50 cents on the dollar for Brandon Marshall. Imagine how good the Bears would be without him and his poison.

It's all about efficiency though. Did you see how efficient Hartline and Bess were on those first two drives?
I mean, Hartline only needed to make one athletic move instead of falling down after the defender tackled him with his finger tip, but EFFICIENCY.
And hey, Bess probably could've turned those catches into bigger gains instead of slipping and falling, but their Yards Per Target is looking pretty good!Fin-Omenal, SICK, dolfan32323 and 2 others like this. -
He's more than doubled Larry Fitz's production this season. And bested his past 2 seasons as well.

BM doesn't have an all pro slingin him the rock either.

It's very simple. we have some nice recievers, but have absolutely NO ONE at WR or TE that can go up and fight for the ball in the end zone. getting to the redzone is fine. and, for all the people whining about Brandon Marshall being gone, while he certainly had that ability, he also had a knack of dropping a lot of passes in the end zone, so I'd rather go a year without a #1 and draft someone who hopefully will be better than Marshall
[EDIT] Fasano made that nice catch literally seconds after I posted this, but my point still stands. Tannehill three 3 beautiful passes on that drive, one that Moore dropped, one that Hartline couldn't get in the end zone and the third to Fasano.gunn34 and Sethdaddy8 like this. -

The opinion around here on Marshall sure has changed the past 8 months or so.

For F's sake, he had over 1000 yards each year he was here, and you replace him with Legoland Naneene? What do you think would happen????dolfan32323 and Sethdaddy8 like this. -

I'm just talking about the #2 WR in the entire NFL who has a qb with less passing yards than Ryan Tannehill, and a rating that doesn't crack the top 20, throwing to him. -

I was dumbfounded when they announced the trade and I still am. This debacle I believe belongs to Philbin for thinking he could make do witthout BM and plug in whoever to replace him and Irelands fault for not adding comparable talent as a replacement. We got terrible value on that trade and our rookie QB would of benefited from having him as a target. With all that said, I see no point in sprinkeling salt in this wound by creating these " I told you so" threads. It was a bad deal and most people realize it. Lets move on.

Can't wait to see what dead weight bum Ireland picks with the other half of the "coupla picks" from getting rid of one of the best WRs in the game.
-
-
We needed a #1 since what Chris Chambers? We get one, he delivers 2 1,000 yard seasons and then we trade him away with according to Ireland's own words, a bunch of 3,4's and 5's on the roster.
How can the sales staff try to sell season tickets with that happening??
My main point is that I don't see the team improving year after year with Jeff Ireland. We get good in a couple areas, and other parts of the team go from good to bad.
I'm really just tired to the Dolphins being medicore to bad. We had one bright spot in 2008, then back to the reality that seems to be norm...... -

In thier defense I would say Reggie Bush turned out to be an excelent value trade. Not withstanding from your overall point though that the Dolphins organazation has been poorly run and has made one horrible deal after another.
I will say this much about this teams history. I am thrilled that WH sold the team because he was a terrible owner but as of to date I have been disappointed by who he sold it too. I hope Ross is just slow out of the gate and is going to get this organazation back on a winning track.
Jeff Irelands results have been a disappointment overall.
Same can be said about Philbin. His rookie debute has been unsatisfactory and hopefully he is caught in a learning curve. I hate to say this but he is kind of reminding me of Cam Cameron so far. I think he is better then CC but he has some of the same flaws.
THill, god help me for saying this but, I have this gut feeling that he is going to end up being another Fiedler. A guy who has a decent skill set who you see just enough to keep holding on until a decades gone by and you realize he has already shown his full potential and its never gonna get any better.
I hate to say this but I would not be opposed to targeting someone like Barclay with one of our 2nds in the draft. Let moore go and create competition in TC. -

The problem with this trade is that we were never going to be able to replace marshall. There just aren't guys like him walking around available. Crabtree, Bryant, Blackmon, all the top prospects from the past few years will not be the player he is.
LT wasn't a choir boy either, but BP used his head and sold his agenda.
You make it work. You don't trade the best players in the league, when they are at the top of their game. -
Talk about brutal... I still have it all on DVR. I think I'll watch it again after the season for laughs.Fin-Omenal likes this. -
LOL I just realized he has better stats receiving then Tannehill has passing. FML

Good thing those two 3rd rounders panned out, or we would be in some serious trouble right now.
