Those are both so horrible. The Texans in particular have one of my favorite helmets in the league. And the Bengals one looks like a blank page from a coloring book.

I can only hope this means one day we'll get an orange or aqua helmet to go with an orange jersey. -
The White Bengal is pretty neat, and since white bengals are an actually existing variant to orange it fits thematically as well.
The Texans red just feels like change for the sake of change (or merch sales).djphinfan, resnor and Silverphin like this. -

I'd like to see them wearing those in a game in Buffalo when 2 inches of snow is falling per hour and everything is just buried in it. -

A little rebranding from the Texans, to help move on from the Watson era.
The Bengals enjoyed the spotlight from the Super Bowl run, so they want to extend that with a uniform tweak. They have Burrow, so fading away was never really an option.resnor likes this. -

Personally I'd love to see the NFL loosen up the rules and let teams go wild with their uniforms and helmets. Something like Oregon is/was known to due in college football, something crazy each week. Teams don't have to do it, if you want to stay traditional and never have an alternate, fine. But if a team wants to really push the limits with design, I don't see why a team in the NFL can't do it if some college teams are able to.

I think that I might need to nope out of this thread due to how vastly different my opinions are than most of you. Yikes.
This is all unprofessional nonsense. -
