I never had grammar questions that specific. There are alot of detailed geography questions in there too.

I got a 67%. I'm just shocked I remembered who De Soto was.

 

There is an error in the exam:

"3. A school enrolled 120 pupils and the number of boys was two-thirds of the number of girls. How many of each sex were enrolled?"

There should be more boys and girls and all of the answer choices show more girls than boys.

 

I got a 45% lol

But catching that error makes up for that ****ty score lol.

The number of boys is 2/3rds the number of girls (3/3rds). 120/5*3= # of Girls. # of Girls *2/3 = # of Boys.

 

your reading the question wrong.

There is a flaw though on the geography section. They ask you to list the biggest state to ther smallest and list Alaska in two of the answers. If Alaska was not a state in 1912 than it would not of been on the test as one. Its a trick question and yes it got me.

 

I almost passed I got a 67% and if were not for that trick question I would of passed I think

 

I think I would have aced that test in high school.

Sadly this proves I'm getting dumber with age. :lol:

-That means the number of girls was one-third the number of boys.
-2/3rd is greater than 1/3
-There should be more boys than girls

 

No it means if there were 12 girls then there was 8 boys. 8 is 2/3rds of 12.

The number of girls in this problem is 3/3rd or 1 whole.

Average height of normal female = 63.8 inches
957/63.8 = 15 normal-sized women

11 midget males + 5 normal females would total 13.8 normal-sized males or 15 normal sized women.
