Figured this is better than flooding the sign up thread.
Todd's team is already horrible.

In all seriousness, my only goal is to build a team I'd like to see out on the field together as a fan.TooGoodForDez and ToddPhin like this. -

IF I'm the team I'm hoping for???
I'll be calling up the Raiders and offering one of my 1st's for Terrell Pryor. -

Hopefully people take into account the team each GM started with rather than looking just at overall end results.
Not to mention, any strong defensive effort should be given its due respect rather than focusing excessively on QB and receivers IMO. So far there have been 5 Super Bowls pitting the #1 Offense vs #1 Defense, and defense holds a 4-1 advantage. Pair that stat with the NFL's top defenses posting a 12-3 overall SB record compared to 10-8 for the NFL's top offenses. So, top offenses make more trips to the dance but top defenses win more hardware and head to head. Just sayin.Boik14 likes this. -
No Bdogtitan11, Schisno or Sean yet huh?

We will get it filled up sooner rather than later I think. Ususualy by the rnd there are more people wanting to play than teams.
Though it would be cool to hand out teams soon and let thr new sign ups fight for scraps  -
Way to air your jaded laundry out. -

I wanted BPK to participate but I think his inbox is full so no idea if he's interested.
Update: Down to 10 -
The AFC East. Black sheep of GML.

Pretty much. Hoping the rest fills out quick, I'm looking forward to beginning to formulate plans for my roster and also seeing which guys got which teams respectively.

I've always thought voting should be done like the playoffs, you vote on each division winner then add two WC's. Then we vote game for game by matchup.
Some of us could even provide game plans against our opponent etc.
Just a thought.....I kinda feel like a college football team stuck in the old style if crowning a championship. -

Rookies should aim for AFC East or teams no one wants. You won't win a tie breaker vs established players.

Yea, new sheriff in town. And he's not an obese Bills fan. :shifty: -

So what 7 spots left?

What teams haven't been chosen in a first spot so far (not including Dolphin lists).
NE, Jets, Bills, Steelers, Baltimore, Tennessee, Denver, Kansas City, San Diego (Really? Multiple Oakland's...but wide open AFC West?).
Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, Lions and Bears Oh My!
Seahawks and 49'ers.
Really some good choices left on the board with all the folks going Dolphins lottery. -
Some of those teams are just to loaded that its not fun to take them. Ranking the teams in my top 10 was hard as I really don't have a preference for my top 3-4 teams.
Bills are actually alot more attractive this year then last. With Manual, Woods, Kiko they added some young talent last season. -
I am tracking who is getting what (already) and so far, everyone not putting the Dolphins at #1 have a team on their top 4.
10 1's (it'll be 11 once the Dolphins are awarded)
3 2's
4 3's
