With the new HC set, it's time to see who crews the McDolphins.
Here's where we stand right now:

Alexander I feel is in line for a similar path. -
However, if the point was to maintain continuity with the defensive philosophy, this gutting of the defensive staff seems be betray that goal. We should have just let mcdaniel select his own defensive coordinator.dolphin25 likes this. -
I would have expected him to bring in his own DC and hire trusted staff from his over 15 years of contacts around the legue, but instead it seems like Grier is making all the decisions.
If that's the case, we're ****ed. -

While many of us hoped for Fangio, we don't know if he was really interested. He may prefer a year off, or to work only as a HC, etc.
As for Alexander, I was hoping he could stay and liked him, but maybe it was Boyer who made the recommendation to move.

Holup. Couple of things:
- There was a Quality Control person all this time?
- Mike Judge is one of the coaches on this teams.
-
I always liked Welker. Trading him was one of the STUPIDEST things this team ever did. -

Im starting to put the pieces together, and what it sounds like is that Flores was let go because Grier wanted more control over what he thought should be happening. It seems Grier has a vision of what this team will be and Flores and him butted heads. McDaniel being a rookie HC took the job but was not given any of the power a real head coach has. Grier probably said the defense was good lets keep it going and you come in and fix the offense that's all we need done.
