so, my Carolina Gamecocks get to play the first ESPN Thursday night game of the season, and i will be there.

Cant go against Spurrier on opening day, SC wins imo. Can't believe ND doesnt play this weekend, my offseason continues! :tantrum:

Wolfpack fan here..I think SC will pull it out, but it wouldn't surprise me if we pulled the upset. We've won the last 4 vs. SC, SC lost it's last 5 last yr, we have a winning record on Thurs. night, and Andre Brown is starting at tb. He was hurt all last yr but is healthy again, which means he could wreak havoc tonight, lol.
In the end though....SC 23 NCSU 17 -

First half of this game was pretty much unwatchable lol. I turn it off, and some offense shows up...

no kidding; when he snagged that i said "what a great pick," and the other Gamecock faithful around me looked at me like i had farted in church.
but it was a great play. -
Chris Smelley started last season for several games, and will likely be the QB heading into Vandy next week.
but if our O-Line doesn't improve it's play drastically next week, we are in deep doo-doo.
and all i have heard since practice began from Spurrier is that the O line has been consistently "very good." all preseason.
of course, we also heard that QB Tommy Beecher was head and shoulders above everybody else at the position since fall practice began.. -
oh, and by the way, Erin Andrews was wearing a pair of black skin tight pants that she needed a shoehorn and some astro glide to get into. and the rack on her is amazing.
