-Justin Cole De SJSU
Ryan D'Imperio Ilb Rutgers
-George Selvie DE USF
These are the later round cats who will be on the draft board in the 5th-6th-7th rds where we have the most draft choices, there are several things these players have in common:
-Fit prototype, they are in the upper portion of the size/speed/weight measurables for their respective positions
-Flawed players, including coming from smaller colleges.
Willie Young for example, he is not well liked by the Draftnik crowd, however look at his measurables:
-4.88 40
-6'4
-250 pds
-split between 40 time and 20yd shuttle is a upper echelon .36 seconds (4.88 vs 4.56) which suggests he has nice lateral quickness
As a GM, why wouldn't you take a throw away pick and use it on him? Every draftee is more or less a project moreso the later round players.
