Breaking everywhere.
His Agent Brett Tessler has released a series of statements denouncing the Wells report, and among another things, backing up Jim Turner.

Could Richie and his agent releasing player A's identity (Andrew McDonald) have anything to do with these statements from McDonald? Just like our Japanese trainer, he has a job to do. And he knows that he'll be unable to do it effectively if he actively participated with the investigation. It doesn't pay to be a rat.
Basically, McDonald says he has the highest respect for Jim turner personally and professionally. As indicated by my original reply about the Ted Well's report, I thought Jim Turner giving him a male blowup doll was probably a joke that wasn't intended to be malicious and might not of been taken as such. That doesn't mean he condoned and/or appreciated the taunts from his teammates, who apparently were pretty relentless. Harassment/bullying could still be true. That aspect of the report remains unchanged, until McDonald clarifies otherwise. -
McDonald doesn't even play for the Dolphins any more, why would he be saying what he is to eke out a future? He could criticize Jim Turner without repercussion. Or at least has no real incentive to praise him.

I am still just amazed how this blew up and was twisted into some sort of shocking and deplorable situation.
It's mind boggling.
Context is the key. -
Unacceptable regardless of McDonald's own personal opinion on it, and shouldn't be taken at face value regardless. McDonald is going to release a statement like this regardless of own feelings, I think he and his agent are aware that speaking up and "causing problems" is going to be detrimental to his career.
Regardless, using this to suggest everything is A-OK is genuinely pathetic and there are really no excuses for it.RoninFin4, DPlus47, unifiedtheory and 1 other person like this. -

The whole thing ****ing stinks. The organization is a joke.
But hey, Jon Martin should have handled it like "a man". Real men don't have mental health issues.
This mess has taught me a few things, we have a lot of people on this board who are ****ing dinosaurs and we have a LONG way to go on dealing with mental health. -

I haven't really expressed my opinion of this whole cluster yet...mostly because its already been said in parts and pieces but here ya go. The readers digest condensed version.
Remember hard knocks? It goes back that far. Veteran players Dansby Bush and Long approach Coach. Say hey coach. We think we need a leadership council. We want to be it. Whatcha think. Coach says yeah sure why not...oh by the way you're traded. And you're traded. And you're traded.
Anybody else wanna step up and try to be a leader?

The players were upset that Chad Johnson was cut, so they formed a leadership council to express their displeasure with cutting him. Philbin met with them and answered their questions and the council met with him regularly for that whole year and one was even formed this year.
Then fast forward a year, and Ireland cut Bush because he felt like he had a cheaper version in Miller. He failed in his bid to resign Long. And he replaced Dansby (& Burnett) for models he thought would be younger, cheaper & faster.
There is NOTHING to suggest those were moves made for any other reason then economics & talent. NOTHING suggests it was because Philbin wanted them gone because of the leadership council. Let's not forget, its been confirmed Philbin wanted Ireland to get rid of Cogs because of the golf course incident and bring in Martin's replacement because he sucked before all this went down and Ireland didn't either. Not sure why everyone would still think Ireland would get rid of players because Philbin didn't like the leadership council but he wouldn't get rid of a player that sucked and one that molested a women at a team sponsored charity function.Disnardo likes this. -

This story only showed me one thing. The bitter fans of this franchise will always be bitter no matter what news comes out for or against us. Everything we do is wrong. We're a joke. Blah blah blah.

So? He still didnt need say anything. He coulda just said "well, glad I'm not dealing with that bs in Miami" and moved on with his life. It would not have mattered if he was player a or not. He still felt the need to speak out.
Did wells interview macdonald? -
