I have in the past done this... It can be a lot of fun under the right circumstances. Bragging rights is a nice thing also.

You can't do a "for fun" fantasy league because if I start 0-2 I'm definitely not going to pay attention or set my lineup from then on.

Well I will have you know I have been in leagues that were not for money where all of the teams set their lineups every week. And fought until the last week.
That is all I would ask of whoever plays... Even if you are 0-5... set your lineup and be active on the waiver wire.... No giving up.
