I like him more than I did with Bess. What do you all think?

Has the ability to make a move and get some YAC. He's definitely clutch.
Bess was very consistent but Gibson is more valuable. He's our 2nd best FA pickup (grimes). Gibson is part of the game plan and as long as defenses fear wallace, gibson will catch 5-7 balls a game.JShady likes this. -
I still miss Bess but Gibson's been doing a great job being the new go to guy

Gibby is leading the league in receptions for first downs at 9.
Loved black ninja, Gibby is an upgrade.cuchulainn, Bpk and Fin-Omenal like this. -
Love Gibson. Comes up big on 3rd downs, works the middle nicely and can get some YAC. Good compliment to Wallace and Hartline.
I wasn't sure about him when we signed him but he has been a nice weapon for Tannehill. Happy to have him.JShady likes this. -

never liked Bess, poverty receiver.
Gibson is a beast. -
There is more versatility to Gibson despite the drops... .Bess had them too .
Although he is playing slot receiver he is versatile and could play Hartlines position if necessary.:yes:Bpk and Fin-Omenal like this. -
So far so good. I questioned the pickup for numerous reasons, but so far, I don't think there's many slot receivers playing better. His ability to get open and make plays on 3rd down is a much needed and welcome sight.

Does anyone still care that we don't have a 5th receiver? Didn't think so...

Damnit. Wanted to post before people started ****ting on Bess, left and right. People refuse to appreciate him for what he was for us. Will not stand by and allow you all to disparage the Black Ninja.

Dbess is doing fine as well folks, he has 6 first down catches, 150 yds and just supplanted Greg Little as a starter in Cleveland.
Gibby is larger and can make plays happen Dbess never could, like the 3rd down catch behind the yard marker, he is knocked back, kept his balance and picked up the first down.
DBess could not do that for us, between the hashes he was awesome thoBpk and MikeHoncho like this. -

Gibson is doing a hell of a job replacing him though and seems to bring a little more to the table.Tin Indian, DOLPHAN1 and MikeHoncho like this. -

Anyway... The Rams didn't value him as much as we did (which in hindsight isn't saying a lot *Cough* Jake Long *cough*). Point being, I don't think the Gibson signing was a no brainer. But hey... all good. He's one of ours and playing well. -

I'm more concerned with Mike Wallace. -
I'm not saying his signing was a no-brainer overall, I'm saying it was a no-brainer over Bess. You're right Bradford didn't have a lot of weapons, but Gibson was still the 3rd option and Bess was our 2nd....and Gibson put up better numbers.ToddPhin likes this. -

I love Gibson's attitude and toughness. Nice bigger, stronger body over the middle, knack for moving the chains. Great signing. He's just fitting into this offense beautifully. On top of that, in interviews he just seems like an awesome dude.
I wish we would get Wallace going a bit more, but Tanny's done a great job spreading it around and finding the right read quickly. -

I'm going to go buy a jersey with the name Gibby on the back.

Seems like each game so far a different Wr has gotten more targets
