I like him, especially with D Thomas's stock moving upwards into the late first round, imho that puts Lafell on our radar as a potential #1 Wr ala Dwayne Bowe.

Lafell had some drops that scare me, But he never had a good QB throwing him the ball. I do agree that he is on our radar tho. If we drafted him in the 2nd i would be happy. Worried but happy

Same here, but unless A Benn appeals to you, Lafell is the next logical guy after D Thomas, the rest the Gilyard's and Tate's are more #2 types imho.
Kinda interesting Mike Nolan was at the UF pro day, Carlos Dunlap if he is at #43 would be a sweet pickup and one I'd be happy with even over Lafell. -
I like Benn more than Lafell. I like Tate more than Lafell. Thomas and Lafell are even cause they have potential but questions remian. Gilyard to me is a slot guy and not too much more. If we get Dunlap it will be @ 12. Alot of ppl on this board are not very high on him but He will go in the 1st IMO.

My issue with Tate is he just is not polished enough to be a #1 type Wr, and Benn was not very consistent.
As for Dunlap, imho he is a late 1st rd player at best imho as he has a couple of things working aganst him.
Any thoughts on Ilb Doe? SI.com liked his workout. -
Benn was incosistent cause that team sucked. His QB (Juice Williams) was actually worse than Lafell's QB (Jordan Jefferson). Benn has all the tools to be great imo. Tate gets the job done and proved he was a player and that all i care about. Why low on Dunlap? Motor and work ethic are his main problems. Those are correctable. Few ppl in the draft show the ability that Dunlap does. Doe is a ****ing idiot and was a big problem for coaches. I would rather have Ryan Stamper who played every LB spot while @ FL and called the plays. He would be an asset later in the draft as a key backup.

And motor issues are the one thing that is not correctable via coaching Skeet, a guy loves to play or he doesn't, imho a team should never draft a player with a iffy motor.
The reason why I give a Dunlap a partial pass is he may not have been put into a position to do what he likes to do, C Strong may not have had a role for him alone and he just did what they asked and little else.
Thanks for the heads up on Doe, and I liked what they were saying about Kade Weston that is, from UGA. -
He only had 2 td but was only less than 250 yards behind Lafell (Lafell played extra game bowl). Benn also played on a horrible team with a horrible qb. I still like Benn more. Dunlap has very correctable problems. Its not about wanting to play or not its about sometimes just being lazy. Dunlap has some crazy upside too.

I like Dez Bryant, Benn, Demaryius Thomas, and a couple other WR's before Lafell. I just think Lafell disappears at times.

I expect Bryant and Thomas to be gone before #12 and #43.
And Benn was not very productive but he and Lefell have a nice size/speed combo. -
Rafi has his heart set on Dez Bryant.
I think Lefell will be as good as Dwayne Bowe, possibly better as Henne is a better Qb than Cassel..imvho. -

I don't agree that it's more probable that a defensive player will be the pick. I think it's 50/50 whether it will be Bryant/Spiller/D. Thomas or E. Thomas/one of the OLBs.
I think the depth in this WR class is horrid. After Bryant and D. Thomas I don't want any of those guys before the 4th round, maybe later. -
I highly doubt we take Spiller. FO has shown that WR is not a huge need. Also there are more prospects we are interested in on the defensive said. Thats why at least I think its more probable we go Defense.
Yes I def have my Eye on Cooper Padre. I think he would be a great pick in the 3rd rd. -
Which is a part of the reason why I really like Jermaine Gresham Rafi, he fills a need, is the best prospect at his position, and we could use an upgrade at Te.
We were close to taking Pettigrew in 09, and Gresh is a better Receiving prospect than Pettigrew was imho. -
I disagree. I think it's just as likely that we haven't looked at some positions in FA b/c we are whittling down the need positions we don't expect to fill in the draft. And Spiller may not be my choice, but I think this FO would be intrigued by him.

I think Gresham drops too many passes. I think both Pitta and Hernandez will end up being better.
I hate poor hands in any receiving prospect. In my experience the key traits to look for in a receiving prospect are good hands and ability to separate. Prospects like Gresham, Benn and Lafell are all suspect in at least one of those two traits. -
Imho they view Fasano as a blocking Te, and Gresham will have a solid yr worth of time to rehab that ACL by the time the season begins.

My thinking with Gresh is, he is the Best Player at his position that will be available to us at #12, the past two drafts that is what they did in Rd 1.
Big Jake and Vontae Davis were the best players at their positions coming out of college, granted Jenkins was taken at #14 or so, but Vontae was considered the better cover corner. -
Imho he is Dwayne Bowe Jr and would be a good value at #43 and especially at #76.

not lafell.this guy's hands are extremely inconsistant.he had issues catching the ball at the combine aswell. and it's not all the qb getting a bad ball to him.i've seen him drop balls when he was alone for 15 yards and the ball hit him in the #'s.serious lack of hand/eye coordination. i don't like the way he try's to catch the ball either.he wouldn't be a top 10 pick if tom brady was throwing to him.
