There is alot more than that coming out this week, the next two weeks are packed full of game releases. I'm gonna get in on this deal and take 1 or two back next week when Far Cry 2 comes out.

Im interested in Dead Space but not really interested in paying full price. As for NBA 2k9, i rented it. its good, but They REALLY need to make a new engine. I feel like it's been the same game since the dreamcast, with just minor touches made every year.

 

You can always go this week and get a "placeholder" game or two and take them back the following week when the next round of games come out, thats what I'm doing.

 

Do the 2 games have to be the same price?

 

I read on another forum that TRU doesn't let you do that?

So I was going to do this deal but it seems Toys R us is being a cheap ***.

SW and NBA2k9 both have the buy 2 get 3rd deal, however when I put 2K9 it only gives me the free shipping BS and not the deal, kinda BS if you ask me.

 

is this online only or i can go to the store and get the same deal?

sweet thanks. I can't seem to decide which 3rd game to get. I plan on getting Forced Unleashed & Bourne Conspiracy for the PS3. Has anyone tried out Bourne Conspiracy?

For the 3rd game, I'm thinking of getting something I dont plan to play and open, then wait for something good to be release then go to Wal-mart and tell them I got the game as a gift and would like to exchange it for something else.

The problem with this deal is you actually have to pay for 2 games.

 

a lot of these games can be found for cheaper but the free game is a pretty good deal.

i might have to go soul caliver IV instead of Bourne then.

Didn't go for the deal, but don't worry because Toys R Us does this at least once per month. However, for all of you who are considering this deal, PLEASE DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR and pick up Saints Row 2 as 1/3 games. It's a ton of fun.

I already have NBA 2k9 and Saints Row 2. If I knew about this last week, I'd of probably held off on 2k9 for a week to pick up those two games along with a free Fifa 09.

 

Anyone know of any Xbox 360 console deals floating around? Dell.com had the 60 GB for $249.99 and the Elite for $349.99 a few weeks ago, but I found out too late.

I'm a PS3 fanboy, but most of my friends are on 360 and I want to be able to play Gears 2 with my boys.

 

Dell.com had a deal alittle while ago for $180 you got a 360 Arcade and Madden.

 

i'm all for free games too. I plan to get a PS3 80gb today. to play bootleg burned games, would i need to mod my PS3? I would also have to have a bluray drive to burn the games on Bluray?

yeah, they cost a lot. i was going to buy a bluray burner from newegg for 239.99 and 15 bluray disk 89.99 from frys.com but decided to get a PS3 instead. :up:

Its SR2 but why post it, that does not have the deal because it was just released today. The fact is I was going to put those 2 in and get SR2 for free but the damn thing takes 2K9 free shipping.

 

i would think you would have to have all 3 games in the cart for the deal.
Why would SR2 not be part of the deal if it ends the 18th? :dunno:
