Let’s reply like this...
Once upon a time, the Buffalo roamed the Great Plains with herds numbering in the millions.
Sadly though, because they are truly nothing but a big dumb animal, they were obliterated.
Guess we’ll just have to see if these buffaloes are decimated come week 17

Just an FYI, there's nothing in the TOS that says only Phins fans can participate in the forums nor that commentary has to be pro- Dolphin. The way I see it, if a Bills fan wants to come and debate about the Dolphins/Tua/Bills he or she is welcome to do so as long as they abide by forum policy.
Maybe some Dolphins fans agree, they can't beat the Bills, maybe Allen is better than Tua... maybe not. The same discussion could come from anywhere.
Of course, there are plenty of trolls who do like to cross over to forums and cause trouble offering nothing substantial. If that's the case here it'll get shut down.
So everyone engage according to the rules, and don't get personal.

#1 defense in the NFL..
#1 Defense on third down.
#1 defense in turnovers.
#1 team in the NFL in offseason assets :)
The three most important stats in the game on defense we lead this league in year 2..
Bills have no run game except for Josh, and no tight ends.
They have been building their team for a few years now so they are ahead of our rebuild, so they should edge us out head to head this year, but, with more offseason assets than any other team in football and the #1 defense going into next year man, this rivalry is reborn..
Where I give them credit is McDermott is a good coach and obviously they have a real GM in place.
The trade for Diggs was excellent, and the selection of Josh Allen was just as good. -

1) Rookie Tua > Rookie Allen, it's not even close in comparison. Let's have this conversation again in a few years.
2) Miami's D > Buffalo's offense. But then again, Miami's D > than any NFL offense at this point.
3) Miami had every starting WR, TE and RB injured/out by the 2nd half of the Chiefs game. At full strength, we would have beaten the Chiefs & blown out the Pats.
4) What the Bills did in the past means nothing- this is a brand new Miami team from top to bottom. You beat practice squad players last season as we tanked for Tua with possibly the worst roster in the history of the NFL...and that team won 5 games while knocking NE out of the bye last season in week 17. The new motto- we show up in December.
5) Josh Allen will get exposed in week 17, just like every other QB has been exposed by this defense this season. By the way, you were wrong about our Chiefs game...we forced 4 total turnovers while Tua brought us back with practice squad receivers and backs.
6) Several of our offensive starters and our entire defense will return by week 17. Just be sure to return after the game to finish this discussion- pretty sure your tune will change about who you want to play in week 18.
7) You're right about our 4th string RB, he's the one who just put 150 on the Pats. Glad you're looking forward to that...Phil Hutchings, Irishman, Ronnie Bass and 4 others like this. -
At least the occasional Packers fan (AaronRodgers12) who visits our forum is objective and is non combative and he is appreciated. Your posts are a complete 180 of his.
After the Steelers loss last night and the Bills projected as the number 2 seed, I somehow doubt the Bills are playing their starters on the last game of the season. It will be a meaningless game and Buffalo will be looking ahead to the playoffs.
For the Dolphins, we’re already in playoff mode...every game is already a playoff game and teams are taking note, hoping they aren’t facing the Dolphins in the playoffs.
So if Josh Allen doesn’t face the Mosh Pit week 17, I’m sure he’ll be hoping he doesn’t the Mosh Pit in the playoffs. The great Patrick Mahomes learned that coming into a game with only 2 interceptions on the year doesn’t mean squat when facing this defense.Phil Hutchings, Irishman, Tin Indian and 1 other person like this. -

This season, you played a team with 22 new players as part of the rebuild and no preseason. Congratulations, you beat a team that was new and had no time under their belt.
Last season, you played a team with 26 new players who were all replacements just to field a team. Congratulations, you beat a team my high school football could have beaten.
The year before that, you beat a team coached by Adam Gase, a coach so terrible that he just won his first game this season and lost out on the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes.
So look at history without perspective I’ll be sure to send you a box of tissues.Irishman likes this. -

Your biggest success this season will be beating us week 17? Dont you have better things to care about like a Superbowl or do you just accept your trash team has no chance? Our season was already a success regardless soooo yeah.
For the record though I've been a fan of Allen even when people didnt like him. I am not however a fan of your posting style. -
These guys weren't even supposed to be good this year, they stripped everything down last season and are in year 2 of a full rebuild. We still have holes all over the place but here we are knocking on the door already.
It is what it is, win or lose but going forward with this coach and the team they are putting together the rest of the league is being put on notice.Phil Hutchings and Irishman like this. -

And yet, my post--where I mentioned how it's just f*cking weird for a grown man to join the forum of a rival sports team for the purpose of stirring up sh*t--gets deleted, while he continues to brigade around the forum stirring up sh*t. There is zero intention of a genuine discussion on his part. That much is obvious.

Hard to believe I am saying this but I guess I am a Patriots fan for a week. And yes Miami can beat the Bills. We should have all our RBs back that week maybe we can run over them for about 400 yds.

Like I asked him, what’s going to be his excuse? I’m a firm believer in karma. If he was having a legitimate discussion based on facts and circumstances, that would be one thing. Hell, we do it all the time but when you decide to be cocky and arrogant, the karma bus is making a stop at your house to pick you up.
So when he’s sitting in his sofa, mouth hanging open to the floor, drooling out his Taco Bell Nachos Bellgrande wondering what in the heck just happened...the karma bus pulled up.

I have John Allen as the second best quarterback in the NFL.. it is painful to admit but if you guys havent been following what hes been doing this year... hes not that far off from Pat Mahomes.. hes damn good.. and unfortunately hes in our division... we can only hope that Tua becomes what Josh Allen has developed into.

My best friend is a Raiders fan. He's been a demon with a silver mouth compared to than this guy for about three weeks now. You can bet our next phone will be very animated either way. Now the real game is today, we're playing for something and the Raiders are pretty much done, but looking to spoil. I kind of like the smack talk to be honest. Let it roll, there's no reason to get upset about it. Even if it was just to create a stir...He wasn't offensive, it was trash talk, and a little bit is good to have some times. Hopefully karma shows up with Emmanuel Ogbah and puts the smack down on him and his talk.
As for Buffalo! I mean! Man! They are great this year! Josh Allen has made the ultimate leap into greatness and 'rostered' (hate that word) or not in Buffalo...I'm a fan. I've never actually really hated the Bills. Sure...they broke my heart in the 90s, but that was almost thirty years ago! They've been terrible for so long (as we have), that it's really hard to dislike them. Even their fans are quite fun at times. I think both organizations were due to rise up at some point and i'm glad to see it finally happening. I think we'll be slugging it out with them once again as opposed to just playing each other. The NFL HAS to give us a prime time Sunday/Monday night game next year. Regardless of stadium it's played in, it would be cool to see it in s November/December setting with both teams really playing for something. We're going to get that this year, and I couldn't be more excited.
To answer the original question, can we beat Buffalo? In Buffalo? In January??? No, but we have to if we want to make the playoffs. -
I've been thinking about this hard over the winter break and the answer is yes, we can win in Buffalo. In fact, we have one of the more successful Buffalo QB's on our roster and I think he will end up with some playing time. The thing to remember here is that there's a decent chance we play Buffalo twice in a row, in Buffalo, on that frozen field.
How? Gisecki being back is massive, but we need Parker to get over his boo-boo as well and have a big game. Jakeem can also make a difference on offense and special teams- we need our weapons to rest up and be as close to 100% as possible. We don't win this game in a shootout but we can take it with a dominant defensive day, win the turnover battle and START TUA...I don't know if you've noticed, but the last three coaches we faced have said that they didn't want to match against Fitzpatrick. So give them what they wished for in the first half and if we're struggling, bring out the Magic for mop-up duty. Fitz has always felt like Buffalo was his "home team" and he loves playing there...he by far has the best chance of securing us a win in Buffalo.
However, there's a bigger question here- do we want to try and beat Buffalo once or twice? I have a feeling that we can lose and still get in the playoffs, which means we'd have to do this all over again a week later as the #7 seed. We win the first game and we're going to be the #5 seed facing Tennessee OR Indy, depending on who wins that division. Of the three, I fear Buffalo the worst so we absolutely have to win in week 17 to take the #5 slot.
Some folks have said that Buffalo will not rest starters since they'll want the #2 seed- but is that really true if we'd be at the #7? I know they feel confident against us in Buffalo but nobody intentionally wants to face our defense and Ryan Fitzpatrick's wrath in the 4th quarter...much less twice in a row. Nobody hopes to pull the top defense in the NFL on purpose. I would almost bet that they rest some starters anyway, let the game fall where it may and get ready for the Browns, Titans, Ravens or Colts.
In other words, as bad as we want to win in week 17, I think it would make sense for Buffalo to want us to grab the win as well. -
