Guy offers absolutely nothing for us. Superior blitz pickup lol Get Miller in there it can't possibly get worse.
I'd add Nanee to the same group but there's obviously a million threads for that already.

At this point Thomas is what he is. A serviceable backup. Reggie Bush is the present and Lamar Miller is the future.
-
As a constant DT supporter, he is definitely trending down imo.
-
So glad we moved up to take a RB....
-
I would love to let go of DT if Lamar Miller didn't make me think of John Avery.
-
Thomas doesn't play to his size and seems to lack vision. He's leaving yards on the field.
I think they're pumping a dry well with him unfortunately.

Dolphins learning some hard lessons about the cost of keeping bad football players on the field.

He hasn't done a damn thing this season to show he deserves to be the #2 back on this team. I expect Miller to get a heavier workload from here on out as Reggie's backup.
I'm just trying to think of what he brings to the table. Javorskie Lane looks more than serviceable in short yardage/goal situations. -

I would love to know what Lamar Miller has done. He shows me nothing.
Speed doesn't mean a whole of a lot when you baby step into the hole.
Seems everyone thinks he is real good but when he gets out there Miller really isn't any better.
He hasn't developed at all and still lacks the smarts to grasp the playbook and his protections. -
He hasn't done a god damn thing in 2 years. He sucks.
-
Dolphins need to wash out the bad players. They're sinking the efforts of good players. -

I have to agree that Thomas needs to have a seat. Lane is a much better short yardage runner than Thomas, even if the ref's made an error in placing the ball on Lane's last run today. Thomas played well for two games in 2011. Since those two games, not much. Time to rely more on Lane in short yardage plays and give Miller more time as Bush's backup.
Maybe another team in need of a running back will give Ireland another sixth or seventh round pick for Thomas. Right now I would rather have another low round draft pick, than have Thomas in the Dolphins backfield. -
His run I believe at the very beginning of the 2nd quarter, I saw him ignore a gap and run right into the crowd.
to me, it was as if he did it on purpose. Not that he missed a gap, but that he chose to pass up the gap and run into a pile of 3 players. It was that bad.GARDENHEAD likes this. -
I like Miller's upside as well but he's still struggling with the playbook, he was beaten out by an UDFA for the KR position, he doesn't run hard unless he sees a lane, and he's even worse than Thomas in blitz pick up. -
So use Miller in space and with dumpoffs. I find it hard to believe he's that much worse w/the blitz.
Bottom line is Thomas needs to be on the bench for Miller/Lane. -
To me, Daniel Thomss obviously isn't the guy that lost the game or anything like that lets be honest, but I just want to see a PURGE of players that are bad players. Not necessarily cutting (except in the case of Legedu Naanee), but more of a toppling, to see of we have solutions to these problems already on roster.

You have some valid points regarding Miller. These points though don't convince me that Thomas should get more playing time then Miller.
Tanneyhill is the starter because he is the future of the franchise and he is learning the QB position at the NFL level. I just think that Miller has more upside then Thomas and he should be getting the ball more than Thomas. That is just my opinion. -
Your joking right?
I think its an absolute joke how LM wasn't used today. JOKE
