I think this guy could fit in real well competing for the number 3 CB job with Will Allen. Allen is a question mark and may not last the whole season and this guy is real solid competition to keep Sean Smith and VD working.

I'd take him opposite VD over Smith. I don't think he is #1 material and with Asomugha, Cromartie, Taylor out there I don't think he will be getting #1 money. Regardless, I don't think we can rely on Allen to play a full season and I don't want to see a guy like Benny Sapp out there as our fallback option.

Wow. Just wow. Joseph will be signing a contract with a team that is willing to pay him #1 / #2 CB money. My point is that this guy will get paid and we shouldn't be wasting that much in cap space on a position where we have a decent amount of depth already.

Pats, Chargers, and Texans. You trust VD and SS to take care of these guys? TE's ****ed us up last year. -
We've got cap space. I'd upgrade DBs over any other position besides RB on our team. We aren't getting a QB that will be anything better than Henne in this FA. So many 3rd and long conversions last year and the reason was DBs.
We'll get our RB. My guess would be resigning Brown. I don't see Bradshaw getting away from the Giants and I don't think it's worth it to pay out on DeAngelo for what will likely be his last decent contract. I don't want Bush or Sproles.finyank13 likes this. -

By "they" you mean the Giants?
What triggers are we supposed to pull in FA? The major needs are RB, DBs, and OL depth in my opinion. I don't think we need much else on defense.. the front 3 should be a solid rotation with Soliai coming back. Edds is coming in who might be able to add depth to an already solid LB corps. Those 3rd down and longs are what killed us all year.
