I bought stock in the company responsible for Dixie Elixirs. MJNA. Got it at 5 cents over a year ago. It was at .50 at one point. Not back to around .20. Keep eating that pot candy Coloradans!

 

I don't do pot, never have…. but who knows, maybe I'd try it if I lived where it were part of normal, legal culture. Maybe not, it's not all that appealing in general to me, but sinceI hate smoke (esp. cigarette) and wouldn't ever smoke anything if I had a choice, if I DID try it, I'd try the edibles.

The lungs prefer it, I'd think. Also better for tooth color, though the sugar in the edibles would be horrible for your health (let me count the ways).

Also, there is more of a stigma, I think, with potheads and the idea of "toking up" than someone just eating like it's food. Everyone eats.

 

you can take edibles and eat them say at the movies or whatever. So basically pot, for the pothead on the go.

 

There is scientific evidence that pot is good for you but smoking is bad for you. If people are looking for the health benefits as well as or even more so than the high, then the market will exist.

Marijuana is not really addictive so even if he does have a highly addictive personality about 9% of people who use pot regularly are actually chemically dependent on it which is less then alcohol (15%) or tobacco (25%).

not arguing that smoking is worse for your health, but the problem is that it takes more pot to make a good pot brownie than it does to take 3 hits of good stuff to get you high. Not sure what the prices are in Colorado, but assuming it's high enough for the sellers to actually make money, you get a lot more pot for your buck by smoking it.

People react to doses differently. I know that among edibles sold to the medical MJ crowd consistency of dose and finding the right dose for the individual is often an issue. Some find even moderate doses too strong. So it's often not about getting the most pot for your buck.

 

God put it here for a reason, he knew what he was doing. Its a sign that he loves us and wants us to be happy.

And for the non-religious, it's natural for animals (like us) to have the desire to get inebriated.

Whether it's bees drinking apple nectar or dolphins passing the puffer fish, we all enjoy getting a little high.

Yeah, I don't have my life savings in it for sure. And I might sell off on this latest high. (see what I did there?) At least that Seeking Alpha hit squad isn't manipulating the price of the stock anymore. At least not as blatantly as it was before.
