Is it about that time to look for guys at deep positions on other teams that might help us. Can we list the guys on this thread?

Interested to see if Antonio Gates gets cut.
For the Phins, If for some terrible reason Matthews or Gibson get axed... they'll be pounced on by others. -
-
Still another week of games before first cuts I believe.

One has to believe Gibson and Matthews are on the squad. Combined with Landry this group looks more like the old Packer group in size and toughness.
-
I could imagine that we sign a RB off of cuts. CAR's #4 RB Whittaker is looking good tonight against KC. There's got to be some other solid options out there too.
If he doesn't beat Tyler Bray, I'd also look at Aaron Murray over Brady Quinn. -
Damian Williams will be picked up by the Patriots, watch..
-
Brady would love Gibson.
-
Gibson, Damian Williams, Landry, and Matthews meet the profile for the type of receivers Green Bay had. I don't see these guys getting cut with the exception of Williams. They may seek a tall receiver through the cuts if they don't want to keep Binn.
-
We will probably be on the lookout for a running back, maybe rotate out some TE/OL depth at the very bottom.
-
I don't see them getting rid of Ellerbe, Wheeler or Misi. Even though it would be nice to replace them. Maybe they could get rid of one of them. -
Matt Tobin still the highest rated guard in the NFL on pro football focus. Second week in a row. He had the highest grade for Preseason Week 2 and the fourth highest grade for Preseason Week 3. He's now a +6.5 and the next highest rated guards are +3.7's.

I would say Tobin and Graham and a lower pick for Jordan. I know that is likely not going to happen.
-
I hear that TE Tim Wright is having a tough time trying to find his place on Tampa's roster.
I could definitely see Dennis Hickey being interested in him. -

I'm hoping we can somehow land Seastrunk in these cuts. Skins are deep at RB, he may get cut. Alfred Morris, Helu, and Silas Redd are ahead of him. But I would trade for him right now because he should come at cheap price now and rounds off RB position for us nicely with Moreno and Miller.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 21m
Now official: NFL and NFL Players Association have agreed to expand Practice Squads to 10 players 2014 and 2015 seasons.
I figured this Tweet from Schefter is applicable to the thread. 2 more spots on the practice squad to fill this year.Bpk likes this. -

Doesn't affect more experienced players who don't qualify for P.S. though. -

Interesting suggestion from #Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti: Give teams 1 or 2 "protected" spots on practice squads for a drafted player ...(contd) who is worth developing, but not ready for roster. Keeps teams from having to cut a vet to protect a draft pick with potential77FinFan likes this. -
I dunno.
Something you've got to keep in mind here is that at some point the linebacker play gets so bad that there's a bit of "What have we got to lose?" factor. A guy like McCain may not know exactly what he's doing part of the time he's on the field but then he keeps making plays every time he gets on the field, that becomes compelling. I'm sensing that they are in the beginning stages of being compelled enough by him to get him out there. -
LB spots are set, I think. I'm thinking Misi, Ellerbe, Wheeler, Tripp, McCain, Jenkins, and Freeny/Trusnik will make it.
It's a matter of playing time on game day between those 7-8, and they are already mixing it up. So, imo, LB discussion is pointless. -
I think it'll be set at 7 players with Trusnik making it as the 7th guy. He's the guy that knows the defense so well they trust him at any of the three LB spots.
-
I'm thinking Trusnik is out precisely because of age, unless ST coach bangs the table.
-
FWIW I think trip is the next Trusnik. -

How did Seastrunk play vs. Cleveland?
