Aw, gay.

What in the world are you talking about? Cutler isn't the only real QB in the NFL, if we could trade up for RGIII that would be amazing and as of now I'd even take Russel Wilson in the later rounds.

And if he cut his red zone drops in half, he would have had his best season ever.MikeHoncho and Ophinerated like this.

Still doesn't exclude the fact that we run conservative routes with him, we haven't had a QB that can throw consistent deep routes to him or he'd have 100 catches a year.

Yes, throwing more lower percentage routes will increase his catches.
Brandon had 20 catches over 20 yards. Johnny knox had 12 (same as Fasno) with the next closet Bear having 5. Dolphins threw deep successfully a lot last year.Section126, MikeHoncho and Ophinerated like this. -
I hope that Moore gets obsessed during the offseason with being the next great quarterback of the Miami Dolphins, works like an animal during the offseason, hits Marshall in the hands in stride on every deep throw next season, and shuts him the hell up if he drops them.

Bottom line was: dude needs to consistently use his hands to catch passes; and not run out of bounds when he does and only the endzone awaits him.smahtaz likes this.

Cue the Brandon Marshall to Chicago rumors.

Marshall for Rose; straight up.
Make it happen, Riles. -
Trade Marshall to Chicago and let him drop TD passes there.
Draft a legit threat who can consistently make plays and catch the ball. -
A dominant, overpowering pulling guard, a la Larry Little. More specifically, De Castro. Bring in the tackle in free agency. Them, plus Flynn, equals no more red zone/short yardage problems. Plus we end up with the best backup QB in the game, whoever wins the competition.

Its funny, people think trading up to get RGIII is a risk, yet they are willing to take a guy who is just as unproven and who will cost a ****oad more money in Flynn.Jt0323 likes this.

How about.....we get a guy that compliments Marshall instead. Makes a whole lot more sense. Unless you're content with Brian Hartline being our 2nd best receiver.Steve-Mo likes this.

KillerPhins is content with Chad Henne being our best receiver as long as our only legitimate no.1 receiver since the marks brothers is traded, all the while he still finds a way to defend Sean Smith as much as he can.Aqua4Ever04 and Section126 like this.

But this is the Miami Dolphins bro... We just want mediocre, overpayed quarterbacks over quality players. Gives us a reason to ***** and moan, we love that apparently.

We already have one, though. What's the point of trading him?Frumundah Finnatic, Section126, Ozzy and 2 others like this.

WTF are you babbling about?

Would much rather trade you to Chicago so you can bash all the players you hate over there.......BlameItOnTheHenne, Aqua4Ever04, Section126 and 1 other person like this.

I'm just joking around, no need to take it serious. Who do you want the Phins to draft, would you rather them draft a QB like Tanehill or Weeden with the 9th pick or BPA?
-
Putting aside their respective costs, which might be closer than you think (depending on exactly when Griffin comes off the board), IMO the obvious advantage is that you can use the #8/#9 pick to address another position. No to mention you're not giving up another high pick (or more) to move up to get Griffin. Weighing in the draft picks, I think Griffin will likely cost more. Of course, much will depend on whether or not GB tags Flynn. And, just what exactly does his agent think his fair market value is.
All that said, I'd rather have Flynn. Especially if Philbin ends up as the next Dolphins HC. While the sampling is admittedly a small one, you at least have some confidence he can play at high level in the NFL. -
I'd expect Flynn's agent to initially demand Kevin Kolb money which would be insane since no team would pay that much for him.

Yeah, those packer receivers were doing their best Brandon Marshall imitation !! See, it's a copy cat league !! -

On the other hand, MMoore was pretty hot for a few games in Carolina and then a few here... Flynn has one outing with just about the best quality skilled players gathered together on one team... The other thing about Philbin coming here, is a complete change of venue for the O. The WCO version that he runs is complicated and takes the whole team being on the same page for it to work successfully... Do we have that personnel ?? Can he fix the OL ?? Bess, Hartline and Marshall would be a good combination still in that O, but Fasano would stick out like a sore thumb in that O. (not knocking Fasano, he's just not a TE to be used in that fashion)... Adding Philbin isn't as simple as just reloading and kicking off...
On the other hand, you can say that whoever we bring in will have some work to do. It's not like we'll be keeping all the ***'ts and just replacing Sparano....
