it still baffles me that Ireland drafts this guy in the third round and he cant even get active..with so many good players left on the board.

I was hoping Terron Armstead would still be on the board, but he went to the Saints just a few picks earlier. Perhaps Ireland assumed he would be ours and suddenly we were scrambling and picked the next best guy we thought could possibly play tackle. Certainly looks like a miss, bc Thomas looked terrible at tackle in the pre season and now we're wondering if he can play at all.

Dallas Thomas seemed more like a "groom for a year and let him play Incognito's spot" type draft pick.

I really don't understand why its a shock that a offensive lineman drafted by Ireland hasn't worked out.

Well, would like to see him get on the field, know his chest was injured but still

The most frustrating aspect of the 2013 draft is that this team needed at least a few of the players from this draft to come in and become solid starters right away. There were just too many holes on this team to have a draft where none of the players drafted, except the kicker, could become starters this season.
I don't know how this draft class will look in a few years, but as of right now, I would give it an overall grade of (D). Only the few make kicks by Sturgis and 2 excellent plays by Jordan, and one TD catch by Sims prevents this grade from being an (F). The few good plays made this season by this draft class certainly doesn't make up for the total lack of playing time for the majority of the 2013 draft class. -

As I stated, this draft class might prove to be better in the future, but they certainly haven't given this team the type of play this team so desperately needed going into this season. If you want to wait and see how things turn out in two of three years with this draft class. I have no problem with that, except I want impact players today, not possibly a few years from now.
The problem with too many Dolphin fans is they seem content with waiting until some time in the future for players to develop and turn this team around. I guess this is simply a product of Dolphin fans being used to mediocre and not demanding more from the organization. Because obviously mediocre is good enough for many of these fans. -

Can't grade a draft of players before they've even been on the field, mostly resulting in decisions from the coaching staff or untimely and unforeseen injuries. Sounds to me like your gripe is with the staff, not the actual players selected. Charles Clay and Reshad Jones barely had any impact their rookie years.
