We have all heard we can’t beat good teams, well now it’s gotten worse we can’t even beat bad teams either it seems.
We lost to the Eagles and KC. The two good teams we have played.
We had a bad outta g and lost to the BILLS who lost again and suck. Can the media stop sucking Allen’s toes! They are a BAD team and Allen has fallen from his anoited savior of football status! Miami still in the drivers seat at 6-3!!!
time to get healthy and make a run at the playoffs
also if the jets somehow win they would be .5 behind us for the division without Rodger’s!! What the hell

It brought a little joy back to see the Bills lose tonight. Miami keeps the division crown for a bit longer.
Or does Buffalo claim the lead again if they win while Miami is on their bye-week? Quite possible, given they play the Broncos next.Dorfdad likes this. -

I think I hate the Chargers more than the Jets right now (the heck with Herbert!!), but I'll have to root for the Bolts tomorrow anyway.StaleTacos and Dorfdad like this. -

So yeah, if for some reason the Jets make the playoffs and Rodgers is back, there's a chance that team is hard to beat. But he's also getting old and a full season layoff isn't easy to overcome, so from that perspective I really wouldn't be worried.KeyFin likes this. -

Well until Tua beats Buffalo in Buffalo during a snowstorm with one hand tied behind his back while throwing lasers from his knees behind no offensive line, I'm going to continue to be skeptical of him. I'm a 59 year old Boomer and I'm set in my ways at this point.

Additionally, I think if the Jets don't think Rodgers can come back, they'll go out and get someone. And it won't be hard to improve on Wilson.dolphin25 likes this. -
All other cases where the offense was not top 10, the defense had to be #1 to win the SB: 1982 Skins (#1 defense, #12 offense), 1990 Giants (#1 defense, #15 offense), 2000 Ravens (#1 defense, #14 offense), 2002 Tampa (#1 defense, #18 offense), 2003 Patriots (#1 defense, #12 offense), 2008 Pittsburgh (#1 defense, #20 offense).
Some of those were legendary defenses. Jets defense is good, but not statistically good enough for them to get by with an average QB. One major exception to all SB winners of course is the 2007 Giants — worst team to ever win the SB: #14 offense and #17 defense, but that's an outlier.
