[Debunked] Miami traded(ing) Ronnie Brown for Calvin Johnson?

Well, true or not, Calvin Johnson is about the only player I would trade Ronnie for.

EDIT: Actually maybe I wouldn't make that trade seeing how valuable Ronnie Brown is to our offense.

I doubt it. CJ Spiller at 12 if though.

And why would the Lions do this trade? Calvin Johnson is one of the best young players in the game. A guy to build your team around. Ronnie is a stud too but he isn't as young. I could maybe see it if the Lions needed one dominant RB to contend but that obviously isn't the case.

if there was even an ounce of truth to this -- it could possibly be the best trade the PHINS have ever made ... certainly the best in the last 25 years.

as much as i appreciate what RB brings to our offense ... CJ would bring more, in the form of a TD threat on every play.

remember, this FO does not value RBs as much as others -- equally, RB is unique in his current situation, but seriously .... who wouldn't make this trade in a heartbeat.

Pretty much. Im a bleeding heart ronnie brown fan and I'd still have to do it. (even with giving up the first rounder. I think Calvins that d**** good.)
