The jack, the Leo, the rover, I like to call him the freestyler, I think it's becoming more obvious to the eye that not pigeon holing this tremendous talent is the way to go..Let him run, let him play, let him jump, cover, rush, tackle, deflect, make plays in open space..
No impact for another 11 days, keep working on the strengthening, unleash this weapon into our defense and onto the browns.

Really? Brady just calls him "Sir". :shifty:
Man, I hope he stays healthy and terrorizes QBs on his way to DROY.PhinsRock and Canad-phin like this. -
He'd be like a surprise attack on Cleveland. Nobody really has film on him with the Dolphins defense. Teams are gonna look to run on him, but if Miami can keep him on the back-side pursuit of a run, he could chase down anyone moving laterally, so he could be a factor from day one against the run, too. Plus, you could probably put him on a TE and let a LB blitz. Or you could drop him into the slot zone area while a safety blitzes. I'm just thinking of ways to avoid teams pounding right after him. His athletic ability allows him to do so many things that opposing offenses wouldn't have a clue on any play. I'd also consider running some plays just for him, plays similar to what he did at Oregon. Point him somewhere, wind him up and enjoy.

Well, I think the good news is that, ok, he had a bit of a setback, if that, still no proof of a reinjury, it could very well of been more like a stalemate in the progression of the rehab, so they decided to shut him down contact wise for a month, focus on strengthening, and aim for the regular season as the goal..
Could of been he felt some soreness in the shoulder after that hit in the jag game, shut him down for a month, the even better news is, im sure they took all precautionary measures to recheck the stability of the shoulder, so it looks promising after those measures were taken that he's back on the practice field, I mean if the MRI'd him again and it showed something wrong, he surely wouldn't be practicing. -

I'm not afraid of what he has to say. The problem is that it's blatant trolling. If he believed that and actually debated it, instead of just trolling, I'd agree that he should be allowed to post it. I have no opinion on Dion Jordan the football player, and whether or not he turns out to be a good football player has absolutely no effect on my life.PhinsRock, GreysonWinfield, resnor and 2 others like this. -

Great to see Jordan back on the field. If this D can stay healthy they have a chance to be special.

Some of "us" live in Canada and Mexico and the UK and countries elsewhere... and it isn't the always the message, sometimes it's the delivery. Even if that is the poster's real opinion, he could have stated it better or even not at all. And regardless, Jordan is a part of team and neither he, you, or anyone else has an honest idea at this point if drafting of Jordan was a "wasted" pick or not.smahtaz, unifiedtheory, Rocky Raccoon and 5 others like this. -
Well, he did play his Senior Yr with a torn labrum, no surprise he's gutting it out.
Do think it would be wise to not expect a fast start from him, he also may be used in coverage a lot. -

Ever since Dion played in that first game I've noticed his personality and confidence come thru with much more transparency than before, almost like he now knows he can play with these dudes at a high level..
What's going to be interesting is will he be able to handle all the misdirection that is gonna be coming our way.PhinishLine likes this. -
At this point, I just want him healthy. Don't rush him back. After my intitial being pissed off for trading up to get an injury that couldn't make it through pre-season, I'd rather cool off and let the kid really heal. -
He had like 3 QB pressures, 1 hit, and a tackle in space as a stand up LB in his first ever game a few weeks ago against the Cowpies. Guy's gonna redefine the term "beasting"... And when they turn to run from him, Wake and Soliai and Oldick is going to clean up. Coyle and Rocky are stocking up and keeping hanky's nearby for the sexplosions they're gonna have just watching him.
He's like Reed Richards from the Fantastic Four. He's just everywhere... he's like a good guy version of that crazy nazi guy that was wound up from the original Hellboy that just kicked *** none stop while laughing manically... he is just going to take mofo's out right and left... no... NO! There's no questioning Dion Jordan... crazy kid. -

I would rather sandbag him until he is completely healthy and then spring him on the Patriots .Wildcat game part 2 .Brady was continually disrupted by a player like JT in his prime .
Dion "Wild Thing"Jordan can have that same kind of impact....but lets get him healthy first.:praying:PhinsRock and cuchulainn like this. -
Then I said he will RPP (rape, pillage, plunder) opponents like a buzz saw through bread. -
I am quite concerned about his injury. It has not healed completely.Given his draft status is it not better to keep on the bench until he has been cleared completely. Why take a chance.
