How optimistic or pessimistic are you? With our injuries and bad play lately do we have any shot? What do you predict the outcome will be? This is a big division rivalry game. I hope they really get up for this one. And since they have almost nothing to lose they shouldn't play conservative. Run some trick plays and for heaven sake throw some deep passes for Wallace. Get some extra protection for Tanny. Maybe keep a tight end to block some plays. Help out this horrendous O line some. I hope they just come out with a chip on their shoulder and guns blazing. No more conservative mentality and get really creative on offense. Nothing to lose.

I am always optimistic so yeah we have a chance. We match up pretty good with them in some areas. We also will have some problems with them (can you say TE). We can beat NE and with the way things are if we punt on 4th and 1 again I will lose it!!!! We have to play all out and as you said, trick plays, deep throws, everything we have. Phins win 28-24

Probably. Nothing like another meaningless December win to give us a lower draft pick.

I am very optimistic because we can run the ball and we can keep the drives going. Whether Lazor does it remains to be seen.
-
It doesn't matter. We beat them and we'll still miss the playoffs. It'll give us false hope for a week then we'll lose to the Vikings or the Jets and finish the season the way we always do.
-
We matchup well with them but its still a far shot at gillette.

Knowing that they will be looking to avenge their loss in week 1 while locking up the division in the process, I'd say our odds of winning are very low.
It would be sad if the players quit but I honestly think our locker-room is better than that. We can at least say our players have high character in that regard.
We are most certainly not some team with a 4-12 record, after all.
However, Belichick has a way of motivating his players during weeks in which something is on the line.
Even if it's close, the Patriots will find a way to win. They are playing outstandingly at the moment anyway.
I would say this is a 1 in 10 type of game.LITP likes this. -

Has Belichick ever lost a chance to lock up the division?
Those seem to be the Patriots most motivated weeks. -
Yes, we have some chance, because there are two NFL teams taking the field. But if you look at all the factors objectively and dispassionately, not much. However, we are fans. We're in the business of passion. Go up there and kick their a**.

The front 7 needs to play their best game in getting too Brady and stopping Blount who I fear will be problematic for us.

That team simply does not lose at home. Period.
Still. Any given Sunday. -

Yes we have a chance. We are an NFL team that actually has talent.
That said...I'm not getting my hopes up. It would be one of those miracle moments like the long Camarillo TD against the Ravens.Bpk likes this. -
Anythings possible.

Not 1 chance ... It will be over by halftime ...

Can they win? I believe that on any given day, any team in the NFL can beat another team. In fact the Dolphins have proved they can beat the Patriots because they have beat them the last two times these teams have played.
Do I think the Dolphins will win this Sunday in New England? No I don't. The Patriots are at home and they are playing for home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Even though the Dolphins have won the last two times these teams have played one another. Both those games were played in Miami.
The Patriots rarely lose a home game and right now they are simply the better team. I just think the loss to the Ravens took a lot out of the Dolphins and I suspect the Patriots will win the game by double digits.dolphin25 likes this. -

Finnegan and Jamar Taylor will play this week. Great news! Finally something to be happy about.

Yes, and then lose to the Vikings at home. Just to toy with everyone a little more.

Tannehill will get knocked out of the game before 2nd Qtr. Moore will be gone three plays later. All on sacks given up by Dallas ****ing Thomas.
