Let's start the new year right. Beat the pathetic Jets and hope KC helps us get in. I'll be in attendance supporting the team. Closest thing to a playoff game without actually being a playoff game. And if we don't get in we can still feel like the team gave it their all down the stretch instead of imploding like the Jets did this season. Let's all come together this week and support this improbable playoff push. Fins up!

You would THINK with this being the final game of the season, Jets players would play their absolute best, auditioning for their continued roster spot or another team, but with how hapless they have been, I think the team has checked out. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Rodgers didn’t get the start, but I doubt that will happen.
Miami needs this game. They need it in the worst way possible. Even though it is “just the Jets”, it’s a divisional game and we all know anything can happen in a divisional game.
As for KC…I didn’t realize Wentz was their backup. Now, Wentz is no Mahomes but he’s no Skyler Thompson either. And with Andy Reid, I’m actually feeling a bit better about KC delivering for us.danmarino, Striking and Tuanon4Life like this. -
Dolphins receiver Jaylen Waddle has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury against Houston in Week 15. Head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters on Monday that he’s feeling positive about Waddle’s potential availability for the Week 18 matchup against the Jets.
“He had a good week,” McDaniel said in his press conference. “I think if the circumstances would have been different — it was kind of a recipe for disaster on the playing surface relative to his injury. We’d be begging for not only a reaggravation, but probably [one] early in the game.
“So I feel optimistic about him, but we’ll progress that day-by-day.”
Waddle was a limited participant in practice on Thursday and Friday last week before being listed as questionable.
He’s recorded 54 catches for 700 yards with two touchdowns this season.
McDaniel also noted offensive tackle Terron Armstead could be available for Sunday, though the club is getting Patrick Paul ready to start. Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. is week-to-week but has not been ruled out. -

I've been to games in Cincinnati, Arizona, Wisconsin, Nashville, Boston, and Carolina. There are colossal A-holes wherever you go. There are also people like my grandfather who was a die hard Philly fan and one of the most stoice, gentle people you'd ever meet.
When the Eagles beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl, most of the mayhem in the aftermath was being caused by out of state college kids. They come over from Jersey which is a stones throw from Philly, raise hell, and head back to Colgate university. My cousin who lives right downtown in Philly said that the only thing she saw and heard were people celebrating and cheering. She said it was basically an overflow of happiness, elation, vibes (I want that for us). Like I said though, you'll get a few that ruin it by ending up in a video on social media. The media has an agenda.
Most bi-Polar/confrontational = Philly fans
Most delusional = Boston fans
Most annoying = Easily the Buffalo fans
Most obnoxious = Jet fans
Most angry = probably us haha -

Lamm to IR, so if Armstead can’t go, it’s Paul and Carman at tackle.

C’mon man, we all know your feelings about Tua but you can’t honestly believe any pocket passing quarterback would be in good hands with Carman protecting their blind side, can you? Seriously???????? -

Folks like you continuously point at Tua. “He’s fragile, he’s injury prone, yada yada yada”
I point the the Gawd Dammed offensive line being pure sh1t, so much so that not only can’t they block and protect their quarterback, they can’t block for their running backs to get a running game going.
You build a team in the trenches, a foundation and Griers done the complete opposite.ExplosionsInDaSky and Striking like this. -
However, Tua is ALREADY the least hit QB in this league due to his release and the scheme. You cannot keep him healthy no matter the line.
Tua has only been hit 11x this season. Do you comprehend how low that is??? Huntley who has only played in 4 games has already been hit 10x. Mahomes has been hit 70x, Burrow 68x, Stafford 63x Herbert 60x.
Tua rarely gets hit, AND he still gets injured. This isn't a line problem. It's a Tua problem, and there really are no solutions. -
Back to back years of the OL relying on backups at playoff time. And two of three years starting a backup QB. It's very disappointing. OL has to be the priority this off-season

Huntley starting. Sounds like Tua isn't even close to playing even if they did make the playoffs.
They really have to draft a quarterback early coming up in April.Hooligan and Tuanon4Life like this. -

With the Huntley news, the spread has now flipped like I said it would and the Dolphins are now underdogs.
