The Dolphins might avoid the pesky quarterback cut question altogether.
According to Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post, the Dolphins are keeping all four they have at the moment.

Most likely, the Dolphins are hanging on to try to trade one of the veterans.
Of the two, Moore has more value to others, since he’s healthy and ready to hold a clipboard on Sept. 9 if need be.
Keeping Garrard would mean guaranteeing $2.25 million for a guy who couldn’t get through camp without knee surgery. He was out front in the competition at the time of his injury, so it’s clear they’d be comfortable with him mentoring Tannehill.

Not so obvious is that they may be trying to cut Garrard when he's healthy enough to practice, in order to avoid an injury settlement. Just a theory. Not sure if it even holds water. I thought in order to have his salary fully guaranteed he needs to be on roster on the first game Sunday...so they could potentially wait another 8 days for him to get healthy and then cut him before the game. That would also help prevent teams from giving him a call immediately after we cut him.

Funny how the smart business move really isn't a decent thing to do to a player.

Also, note how soft the market was on Kafka. No takers, so Eaglesd had to cut him. That said, the Eagles have a rep of QBds looking good there because of the Eagles, then looking bad elsewhere. We should benefit from the opposite perception, "Of course he couldn't do well in Miami, they aren;t good."
Hoefully Moore's pre-season is being judged in that light by any prospective suitors.

apparently we have received some calls for matt moore, i think it will get done at some point, what is his value a 5th ?
