DAVIE, Fla. (AP)—Miami Dolphins linebacker Matt Roth(notes) has returned to practice after missing the first five games of the season because of a groin injury.
Roth joined Wednesday’s workout in preparation for Sunday’s game against the unbeaten New Orleans Saints. It’s uncertain whether he’ll be activated this week.
Roth had been sidelined since the start of training camp and spent the first six weeks of the regular season on the reserve-non-football injury list. He returns as a reserve after losing his starting job to Jason Taylor(notes).
