Yeah, cause the oline is the only thing people have talked about. His receivers certainly didn't let him down at all.
And sacks aren't the only judge of how well a line is doing. -
Yeah, they really are helping when they do balls at big tones in games.
Regardless, what's they're YAC ranking if you take out the Houston game? -
Wait...for QBs throwing 200+ passes Tannehill is exactly in the middle of dropped passes...16 above and 16 below. How can this be?
http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/dropped-passes-by-quarterback/2015/
Of course anyone who has watched Tannehill throw this year will have observed other than the Titan-Texan games his ball-placement has not been all the good which significantly contributes to drops. -
Baltimore defense: 288 for 459 (62.7%), 3228 yards (7.4 YPA), 27 TD, 4 int = 101.3 QB rating...give up 25.1 PPG
Tannehill: 9 of 19 (47.4%), 86 yards (4.53 YPA), 1 TD, 0 int = 78 QB rating...offense scores 7 points
NY Giants defense: 353 for 530 (66.6%), 4009 yards (7.7 YPA), 23 TD, 14 int = 93.2 QB rating...give up 24.6 PPG
Tannehill: 25 of 41 (61%), 236 yards (5.76 YPA), 1 TD, 0 int = 85 QB rating...offense scores 24 points
So even when the OL plays well, a balanced rush/pass (Ravens) and set up by the run (Giants), Tannehill gets to contribute to the game-plan (why the **** would they plan to wear out Landry right away in the game and Tannehill not throw early to Parker after the play he made against the Ravens is idiotic), gets to audible and plays against POOR defenses Tannehill still plays like, well, Tannehill. Actually worse.
Must suck that the very excuses used to justify him playing poorly have been removed the past couple of weeks and he still play poorly.Finster likes this. -
Who is responsible for determining and recording drops? Anyone know?
-
I see the problem you think sacks are the only thing that show if a oline has played well or not. Makes sense, you think wins are the only thing that indicate a QB has played well.
You still haven't answer my question...shocking.
Your deflections are getting more complex though....soooooo.....good for you? -
You obviously haven't figured out yet that you are the only who cares about what you keep asking.Finster likes this. -
Is that really hard for you to understand that is your answer?
Are you sure you're not just upset because Tannehill now has a record of 28-33?
