2 spots left open, and since we just cut Kaddu and Freeny, it may be for them.
-
no space for Les Brown?
-
Pressley was actually the QB who replaced Armanti Edwards (WR, Panthers) at Appalachian State.

DeAndre Pressley supposedly outperformed a couple cornerbacks during a Sunday tryout.
Pressley, a rookie from Appalachian State, spent training camp with the San Diego Chargers. The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder contributed 11 tackles, one interception and one pass breakup in the three exhibition games he played with the Chargers.
But the Tampa native is a former college quarterback who became just the fourth player in NCAA Football Championship Subdivision history to pass for 2,000 yards and run for 1,000.
That means he's a good athlete who is a RAW, inexperienced cornerback. Considering Miami only has four cornerbacks on the 53-man roster do these coaches really have the time and space for a project?
But then again, the best athlete should be the one they invest in. It is just the practice squad, which is a developmental unitToddPhin, Larry Little and Bpk like this. -

Omar is still referring to Matthews spot on the roster as a fluid event. Come on man.
-
Pressley apparently did well in the preseason. He is a great project.

But I'd venture a guess that the experiment is over. They don't seem to want to try him at WR, and we have three TEs already. -

I'm curious what it'd look like if we would've been able to keep Aaitui on the PS. -

There will be some movement on that list , it won't constant , and typically some early tweaks.
-
I still think that if/when they move one of the 4 QBs off the roster, if that opens up a spot for someone like Ryan Baker or one of the PS LBers to rejoin the roster. -

Also, we won't be constantly in a 4-3 from what's been said. the 28-22, offense and defense, I cannot ever recall us having as the ratio going into week 1. I think one QB won't be on the roster by the first game and another DB or LB will be. -

I'm pretty optimistic that they seem to want to keep Will Yeatman on the roster instead of on the practice squad. I wonder if they don't consider him all that long range a prospect.
