I hope he develops into a good player but I think we will look back on this draft and say, we could have had Mitch Morse...

If Jamil and Turner both start at LG and RG respectively, get ready for some growing pains, but ultimately a better year than having Colledge and Thomas.

Ju'Waun and Pouncey are the only two I see still playing in December.
Dallas, Turner, Albert and the rookie are likely done at the end.
I'm much more comfortable with a quality signing to help stabilize this group.gunn34 likes this. -

Whatever keeps Dallas Thomas off the 1st unit. Godspeed Mr. Douglas.

Is it too much to expect Douglas to start 16 games? I'd love to see it, but it seems more reasonable to expect him to get/keep the spot after about 6 games. He'd be fresh for the rest of the season at that point while getting acclimitized to the NFL, but is that even a concern with a guy with his drive?
We'll have a better idea soon'ish hopefully. -

So, unless you're predicting an injury to Turner, you likely won't see an OL that has Douglas at LG and Thomas at RG. -
Well I obviously love his attitude. Lets see if his physical football skills translate to the pro level. My fingers are crossed cause we definitely still need OG help. If you put 2 first round picks on either side of him he should do fine, unless he's somehow awful at the fundamentals.

Some people are really asleep where Turner is concerned. Can't see beyond 1st rounders.

So sick of hearing the typical reaction every year, then the scrambling that ensues.
You really do need 3 competent backups in today's NFL.
Can this organization and fan base show a modicum of anticipation?
I will say, however, that the rookie was drafted partly for endurance and the ability to play 70-80 plays a game. -
