Seems to be upset with how he was used throughout the game. I didn't see any slants where he was used, and he doesn't seem to like it either. This is probably nothing, but it is interesting to see the comments, or lack of, that he gave in the locker room.

Would like to know more first, but Philbin may need to sit this young boy down and teach him how men handle their jobs, and emotions, and selfishness.

Also, I remember distinctly being told that it was borderline impossible to overthrow Mike Wallace. Very suspicious!FinSane, Mainge and Stringer Bell like this. -

So he's upset he was mostly used as a decoy today... great. Time for Philbin to sit him down, teach him his role.
Its obvious to me his presence today helped Tannehill, Gibson, and Hartline of course. I was surprised though that at leasdt once in a while we didnt hit him with some slants, or some WR screens, something to just get the ball into his hands, but I dont care, we won the game, by going into all out pass mode since we couldnt run, and Wallace's presence on the field, helped us do that by opening things up for Gibson, and Hartline.
We won. That's whats most important.Oboy, HULKFish, MikeHoncho and 6 others like this. -

Yup it would have been nice to see him on a slant or 2...or maybe even a short drag and let him use his speed. They didn't even ATTEMPT to throw to him until that blatantly obvious force at the start of the 2nd half.

probably just frustrated cle took him out of the game. he'll get over it once the coaches adjust to the DCoord's similar game plans.

Guys are allowed to get upset with their performance without needing to be "sat down" and explained their "role". Just because the man earned a 60 million dollar pay check off of his own work and own merit doesn't mean that the Dolphins or the fans get to tell him what emotions to feel.

No doubt about it there lol. Wow.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Starks flipped the bench off. Somebody was probably giving him crap about not getting a sack since everybody else was getting there or something like that though. I don't thats really anything to worry about.
Wallace, thats another story. Him and Tannehill need to get on the same page. We need to find a way to get Wallace the ball. Hayden was playing 12 yards off him quite a bit of the time there is no reason we shouldn't be trying to just throw the ball out to him and let him makes something happen.Da 'Fins, mbsinmisc, FanMarino and 1 other person like this. -

Wallace and Tannehill didn't seem to be on the same page during most of the preseason and it continued today. Perhaps the Dolphins could have saved that sixty million and purchased a better offensive line instead.
Right now I can see the tenure of Wallace with the Dolphins being about the same length as Marshall's. Actually I have always liked Marshall as an NFL receiver more than I have like Wallace. Maybe the Bears will trade Marshall back to the Dolphins for Wallace, staight up. -
Correct me if I'm wrong but he was thrown at like 4 or 5 times for passes over 30+ yards?

Like I said before. If your facing a tough corner. Work some stuff underneath.........then try something deep once they are biting more on the underneath stuff. Haden was giving Wallace a cushion all day. He was ripe for a slant/drag route.

Haden apparently even said, pre game, he was hoping we'd throw some underneath stuff to Wallace so he could jump it.PhinishLine likes this. -
Didn't Reggie Bush have one of these moments last year?

Crappy attitude. The team won. Hartline had a big day, possibly because Wallace was drawing the Browns' top CB. And he's mad because he himself didn't get the stats he wanted. Being frustrated is one thing, but openly pouting and not answering questions where he could simply respond "I'm happy we won but I feel I could've done more" is all.

But now what the world is going to watch is his reaction when he has a good game, but we lose. His outrage will need to be of equal or greater value.

What I liked was the presence he showed out there leaving Hartline and Gibson more open, he stretched the defense. While yes it would help for them to add in some slants or screens for him, he helped in the passing game. What are the chances they did this so they don't show their cards for the upcoming difficult games?
What I did not like is his reaction to the media. His "Ask the coach" mentality seems like he is challenging the gameplan and not trusting his coach. Feels like the Morris-Shula issue after the 1971 Super Bowl. -
He needs to stop *****ing. The team one, and he played a significant role. Get the hell over it
