Everyone killing the Dolphins for signing Wallace to that contract. I bet if their favorite boy scout Belichick would have signed Wallace for the same exact contract, each and everyone of these media morons would be fawning all over the deal and calling it the greatest deal in the history of humanity.

 

Really, outside of Wallace, what have they done to be deemed trying to put together Dream Team II? They have had some great pickups at positions of need, but hardly like the Eagles were a few years ago.

i think what they are saying is "TRYING TO BE THE dream team 2", but after we have a bonifide top 3 draft, they will actually be calling us the "dream team". Id take "dream team" over "bad team that got worse" (buf & nyj) and the "ne 'amendola' splats".

Ellebre will be a beast in this defense. With the DL we have in front of him, and the fact that he can do it all will prove to be valuable. I just want to know their #s now!!

You have to make the playoffs the prior year and maybe sign couple elite caliber players before all this dream team nonsense makes sense. Denver is going for dream team, if anything. I also do not think many people realize it or are in denial of how really bad Dansby and Burnett sucked. Both had the speed of a water buffalo. It was painful to watch them. Sure, every now and then one of them made a play but neither could chase down a fat lady wadding thru a mud puddle.

 

I disagree with that. I hope that Ellerbe and Wheeler fit right in and our defense doesn't miss a beat, but you just never know.

 

The only 2 people in the national media I've heard say this are Ross Tucker and Pat Kirwan. Both on Sirius NFL Radio.
