Included sacks and scrambles.

You see him constantly attempting to step up into the pocket. Problem? There is no pocket.
All the sacks he either attempted to scramble but couldn't find a way out, or he was hit too quickly.cuchulainn likes this. -
It's almost like defenses figured out that if all 4 (or 3) guys bull rush they can get into the backfield, since our tackles aren't strong enough, all the while containing Tannehill. Recipe for disaster.
There has been so many times, Martin has done an okay job blocking for the first couple seconds; Slowing the DE down, while being walked back and all he really needs to learn how to do is turn his body and use the DE's momentum and his leverage to push the DE out wide behind Tannehill. Instead he stops moving his feet, loses leverage and the rest is history. Correct that little issue and he could actually be decent. -
We're never gonna call him swifty but I find it non coincidental that the biggest most pressurized play of the game, he escapes the rush early, rolls left, squares up beautifully and makes a wonderful play, point is he never felt the pressure he just said fu&$ this, I ain't gettin sacked in the last damn play of the game.

Mike Wallace really had a terrible game.

1st sack, no outlet
2nd sack, Wallace covered over the middle. Possible outlet to I think Gibson on the sideline
Just want to note the outstanding play to BH @ 2:50; semi-broken play
Everyone should pause it @4:03. By the time Tanny can bounce off the top of his drop he is being sandwiched. Jesus... It's actually a really good play call too and would have been a first down and maybe more
Sack @ 4:45, nowhere to go with the ball
Sack @ 5:32. Ryan could have moved a bit, possibly finding Miller as the outlet.
Sack @ 5:45. The outlet is there but useless on 3rd & 14. Possible option to scramble right. Ryan was looking deep left all the way

As should be pointed out, THill is not really able to 3 step drop due to tipped passes.

Wow, he throws a pretty ball. I hate when he underthrows on deep balls, but it appears that he can't step into his throw b/c of the poor pocket. He really has an arm on him and he is athletic. Impressive. I was encouraged watching it.

Tannehill played really well... I keep wondering what he would do if he had at least a decent OL.
https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/10/10/signature-stats-accuracy-percentage/
Tannehill is ranked 7th in accuracy percentage per PFF with a 14.5% difference between accuracy % and completion %, one of the highest in the league, which means his team isn't really helping him out.Ohio Fanatic likes this. -
No help. Dude made the throws.

Really seemed like at the end of the game, there was no imagination, no creativity on the play calls. A come back route to Wallace. An short out route to Clay... over and over... At least Tannehill was able to create by himself to get us close on the 4th down to Gibson. But other than that, it was somewhat predictable those last two drives. Couple that with bad protection by the tackles and it's hard to close a game out offensively.... although that's really the first time we've played like that all season in the final two minutes of the half (or end of the game)

Does anyone know why we refuse to run bubble screens?....
I would think bubble screens to Thigpen...would be very effective. I mean...NE used them to kill teams to death... -

By the way...is there anyone in the NFL that throws a better...more beautiful throw on the run then Tannehill? -

It's funny because marv Albert on the 4th down call while the play is goin on says "Tannehill cannot square up" ( because his eyes are so used to seeing qbs slow down to have to square) then in one motion, Ryan's cocks his sh&$ and launches it at full speed.
