Hi everyone,
As the season is about to begin, we all want to ask who we should start/sit. I know the advice from all of you on a weekly basis helped me make the playoffs last year. I will stickey this thread so we can just have 1 thread about who to sit/start. I'll begin the process:
In my money league, I have three RB's and I need to start 2.
Clinton Portis vs Giants
Ricky Williams vs Falcons
Larry Johnson vs Ravens.
1. Whom should I start?
2. Should I drop one RB (if so whom) in favor of picking up either:
C. Buckhalter vs Bengals or
D. Sproles vs Oakland
C. Benson vs Broncos
My league points are as follows:
Thanks!! :wink2:

How on earth did Cedrick Benson not get drafted in your league? Drop Ricky and pick him up immediately. He's one of 7 RBs this year that isn't sharing carries and he has a great match up against Denver.

I'm having some trouble deciding between Chris Johnson @ Pitt, Grant vs Chi and Kevin Smith @ NO. I can start from 0 to 2 RBs and 3 to 5 WRs. Wideouts are Colston, Jennings, Mason, Moore, Tony Gonzalez and Witten.
Right now I have Grant, Smith, Colston, Jennings and Moore in the starting lineup.
Any suggestions? -

Traditionally the Bucs are good at defending TEs. We'll see how that plays out as the year progresses with a new defensive scheme.
And I'm expecting NO to throw 50 times vs Det. Even if Brees goes 30 for 50 that is a lot of completions and yards. This is especially true if Thomas is out.
I'm not sure I will have the opportunity to change my lineup before Sunday's games so I'll have to make my final decision by tomorrow night. I did not start Johnson though I'm glad he is looking good vs Pitt. -
I dont have Santonio Holmes on my team, can I start him anyway? Hes doing good tonight.

RB help
So I play in an 8 team league with some guys I went to school with. I ended up with 4 stud running backs and need help with who to start.
DeAngelo Williams
Michael Turner
Reggie Bush
Ronnie Brown
Right now I have Williams and Bush starting...but I'm torn between having Willimas and Turner starting. Thanks for any insight  -
Is it PPR? If not I wouldn't touch Bush.
I'd start Williams and Turner to start the season. -

Is it worth starting Brandon Marshall this week vs Cincinnati? I'm debating him vs Donald Driver against the bears. I mean Marshall has alot of talent but replacing Cutler with Orton I'm not so sure on the numbers that he'll put up.
Another person I could use is Julius Jones vs St Louis since its a flex spot. I think he'll get more touches than James will and St Louis didn't have the best run D last year. -

Alright, I'm looking for some insight and/or advice.
1. Patrick Crayton or TJ Houshmanzadah this week? Crayton did great this week. Next game is their home opener against NYG.
2. (Assuming McNabb plays) McNabb or Matt Schaub this week?
Thanks for asst. -
McNabb is going to be beat up and any hit could end the game for him. Shaub, I have 0 faith in against the Titans. I own both of these guys too and I'm hoping to scoop Campbell off the wire to start against Det.late again likes this. -
Here's a question... how much longer till Leinart gets the starting nod over Warner?
-
Here's what's got me stumped this week -
Cedrick Benson @ Green Bay
or
Lendale White vs. Houston
or
Ahmad Bradshaw @ Dallas.
Both Lendale and Ahmad have better matchups than Cedrick, but are splitting carries. Cedrick will probably get 25 touches as compared to the 12 or 13 Lendale or Ahmad will get, but will he be able to move the ball or score on Green Bay? -
Benson goes as Palmer does and their OL looks pretty bad. GB should be able to shut them down.
Anytime you start Lendale your really just hoping for a TD. If not, your prob screwed.MonstBlitz likes this. -
But Bradshaw is still an intriguing option. Looks like it's going to be almost an even split between him and Jacobs and Cadillac and Ward both racked up over 50 yards and a score each last week against Dallas. -
Pick a WR for this week:
Antonio Bryant
Devin Hester
Jerrico Cotchery -
Cotchery
Hester

Bryant(might be out) -
hard choice, one team has a player that might be out and the other two face defenses that will take the player out of the game.........JC is good but patriots defense didn't allow evans and TO to run free (even though Edwards has no deep ball).........and don't the bears play the steelers? Hester might get shut down but I'm not sure with Troy P out.......I am not that good with FF so if I'm wrong sorry in advance lol
my choice-hester -
thanks guys....

Bradshaw could get some carries since the Cowboys are expecting a ton of Jacobs but could and will are two different things. Lenwhale is my 2nd choice.

Not a PPR... Gotta start one of the following...
McFadden
Pierre Thomas (assuming he's healthy...er)
Jon Stewart
Moreno -

Gore @ MIN
Ronnie @ SD
Hightower vs IND
starting 2 RBs.
Gore has the worst matchup, but should I start him anyway? I'm playing my dad this week. Last year 2 of his 5 wins were against me. I need to blank him this year. I had a dream last night where I was laughing at my dad as Gore scored his 7th TD of the game vs the Vikes in the first half. Is this a sign? I have a hard time benching the guy that singlehandedly propelled me to victory last week. HELP! -
1. Brown
2. Gore

Hightower is no slouch. This is a PPR league, and Hightower leads all RBs with 15 recs.

I don't know if its the same league, but is this your money league that you have listed in your trade thread? If so, I would give McCoy a long look this week. Westbrook might not be a go this week, so McCoy would be a strong play against KC. -
