The Dolphins signed guard Jeff Braun and waived/injured guard Brian Thomas on Saturday.
Braun, a 6-4, 309-pound undrafted rookie from West Virginia who wasn’t invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, was signed by Baltimore on May 4 and cut five days later.
He has strength. He bench-pressed 225 pounds 29 times at West Virginia’s Pro Day. But Braun admitted the knock on him is athleticism, and that could be a problem in the Dolphins’ zone blocking scheme.

Zzzzzzzz......sorry, just dying for the game to start
-
he would be a threat to their starters

From what I have heard he had some terrible numbers on the athletic side during his pro day. Poor leaping ability even for a OL, which shows lack of explosion in lower body. But you never know. I give any of the young guys the opportunity to at least show what they can. I am pulling for the young receivers and some of the young linemen, like Sam Brenner.

Jeffery Ryan Braun..hmm...did he pass his drug test?
