Cinci is in as bad a position as the Patriots in the sense they have stockpiled picks and FA signings and will have to waive or trade some players.

Michael Johnson, I really liked him coming out of GT last season, even with the Merton Hanks long neck..

What peaks my interest is Lonyae Miller's pass blocking. He was awful coming out. I'm curious to see if he's gotten better at it.

I think Carlos Dunlap is going to end up playing both DE and DT (in certain situations) in his career.

 

They really should have gone with the Wonder Twins (and then looked at each other, fist bumped and yelled "ACTIVATE")......Batman and Robin is wrong.

Felix Jones has bulked up nicely. He didn't have that stiff arm last season, from what I remember.

The Bengals interior lineman are dropping their heads at every snap and then getting ran over. I don't know why they are dropping their heads.

 

They took Dunlap, Rey M and M Johnson over the last two drafts, sooner or later some Vets like D Jones and R Jeanty will have to be moved out.

 

barry church and jeromy miles are two of the undrafted guys i wangt to see. gresham, shipley, dunlap anmd a few oithers are the ones i'll be watching intently

Man did Adam Jones get beat on that. The outside release and then back inside left him behind. He should have known that Roy was going inside and taken that away. Force it out wide.

I think he's always been a good plant and drive player, which is what happened on the first play. He has always had technique issues though, as well as tackling issues.

 

Bernard Scott is one of my favorite tailbacks in the league. I think he's got some special qualities. His blend of vision and patience is outstanding IMO. He's also got a nice pair of hands.

 

I still say that guy is a second round talent at best.

 

Ditto. I remember the conversations we had about Andre Smith last year via PM. He was not that impressive coming out.

 

Funny thing about the Bengals, many people forget that the foundation of the Ravens "D", and the Jets and now ours, has come from Marvin Lewis, and he has stayed with the 4-3 for all of these yrs.

He's been the Bengals HC for what seems like forever.

 

This is a VERY good Bengal team, they swept Baltimore and Pittsburgh last season wich is unheard of...

They still lack a great pass rusher but Zimmer may be good enough to generate a helluva pass rush via his scheme.

Offensively if Andre Smith plays well and Gresham is a viable target this is as complete of a team in the NFL.

 

Well, they doubled down with Pacman and TO, they probably take shots on more risky players than anyone else in the NFL.

Don't hold your breath on Andre Smith, dude is lazy..extremely lazy..as in skipped rehab sessions lazy..

And there prush should be fine as they added enough talent that surely one or two will "hit".

 

Man Jay Ratliff has some long arms. When he engages and locks out, its tough to reach him.
