If our offense can convert more our team will be TOUGH to stop. Just think, odrick and crowder still have yet to come back from injuries also.

He has really turned things around. The man picked off Favre three times. He's a good compliment to Vontae who is going to be a star.

This. I said before the first game that this was his chance to show that he belonged in Miami. Some people acted like he was terrible, and would lose his starting position easily. I don't think Smith starts over Allen for quite some time now.

I love his play so far this year. I always thought he had a shot at being good if kept at one position, but I really didn't think he would put it together the way he has so far.

    I am on it! lol

Good for him. All I could think of when he INTd that ball at the goal line was that it was a great veteran move.

So, its great to see him come alive like this after a few seasons of 'seasoning'.

I have been on his back for a VERY long time! I am glad he has proven me wrong this year and is becoming the player we all hoped he would be a long time ago.

    Very well done Jason!

Yeah, he really has shown that he deserves this change for past two weeks. He did say Nolan's system is perfect for me. I love how Nolan uses strengths of every player and does not force them to do something, instead he works with them not against, which I feel past DCs and systems have had JA doing. He just needs to play.

Well, on my list of reasons to hate Nick Saban, Jason Allen's name is now removed.

    I'm on it.

I've always been on it, never left... The man should have had three picks today if not for a bonehead penalty on Sapp. His play has enabled Sean Smith to lock up on the opposing team's tight end, see final play today? That could be huge as we move on this season.

I wavered on JA at times, fretted over who we "could have had" when he was picked but ALWAYS supported the guy, always though he had a place on this football team. I'm really happy for him.

This is the Jason Allen that looked so good at Tennesee, playing the same scheme ostensibly, that he played at Tennessee and playing to his skills which have always been physicality, man to man coverage, change of direction and not thinking about the game. Just going at it mano y mano.

    Back in Miami

    Clearly that's his weak point.
Maybe we just finally put him where he can thrive.
Either that or Allen has been body snatched by an alien.... I'm leaning towards this explanation.

I actually liked it when they picked JA in the draft. Of course I've gotten down on him but man, he is really stepping it up now. Good for him is good for us...

Not surprised at all. I've been saying all along that Allen is a special player who makes a lot of plays. People badmouthed the guy ENDLESSLY, and now all of a sudden all the people who were ****ting on him can eat their words. All these self proclaimed experts who pretend that they know what they are talking about and just regurgitate the same crap over and over again. All the fans who were clamoring for Allen to get cut, where are you at now? I'm very happy that not only the Dolphins won, but that Jason played a big role in it.

If this kid has finally developed into a solid starting CB (and based on the first two games it sure seems as if he has), then I am tickled pink. What a bonus it would be if he started living up to and playing to his draft day potential.
