The Jets have made the biggest offer to Ndamukong Suh, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports.
Suh, 31, has not visited the Jets yet. He has visited the Saints, Titans and Rams.
But if it’s about money, it appears the defensive tackle will head to New York.
The Jets need help in the defensive line after releasing Muhammad Wilkerson.
The Dolphins released Suh to clear cap space. He spent his first five seasons in Detroit after it made him the second overall pick. He signed a six-year, $114 million contract with the Dolphins in 2015.
He won’t retain his title of the NFL’s highest-paid defensive player with this contract, but it sounds as if the Jets are willing to pay him well.

Being in Detroit and Miami. I have a hard time believing he is going to chase the money. I expect him to sign elsewhere if the offer is even close.

At 31 years old, after collecting $60 million from Miami the last three years, I would think Suh would want to play for a contending team. I'd hate to see him with the Pats, but seeing him make a one year run with the Saints would be cool. He might actually be enough of a difference maker for the Saints defense to get them back to the Super Bowl. New Orleans has a small window and is 1-2 players away.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Rams have agreed to a one-year, $14 million deal with defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.
The Rams can pair him with Aaron Donald on what could be one of the league’s most dangerous fronts, but there’s nothing long-term about their investments. Donald’s entering the final year of his deal, and they’ll eventually want to extend him.
Wow those 2 together will wreak havoc. -

I'm not sure the Rams offense is good enough to get them past the Eagles, even with Suh. Maybe past the Vikings, but the NFC should be really interesting with those three and probably a surprise team or two. The AFC? Well, you have the Pats and Steelers and maybe the Jags get another decent year out of Blake Bortles?
I don't think Suh will mind not getting a double team on most plays. -
I do agree with Finatick above. Pairing him with Aaron Donald is going to result in a fearsome defensive front line that's going to wreak havoc on the NFC West...and the NFC in general.
Sorry to have lost you Suh, but congratulations on the signing and best of luck to you.KeyFin and Tin Indian like this. -
Good luck to you sir, and enjoy eating those West Coast linemen for breakfast.
