Did anyone watch it last night? Artie Lange was on and Joe Buck had no idea what to do. He looked so uncomfortable. It was great. It is on youtube if you haven't seen it.

They have been playing it on the local radio station here.
Guess he went off on Romo and how fat his girlfriend was?
EDIT: You might post the youtube link if you have it Mike  -
Joe Buck deserves what he got for having Artie on. What the **** did he think was gonna happen?
-
Artie is an asshat. I don't find him particularly funny at all. Add that to Joe Buck's impeccable sense of blah, and you have an hour of must-avoid TV.
This must be TPTB's way of making me feel ok about not having HBO after being so despondent over not having access to True Blood.Rocky Raccoon likes this. -

Not to mention fellas, this was completely contrived. Look how much publicity this has received since yesterday.

The show in itself was pretty stupid. I like Lange and thought he was funny. I didn't know though why he was on the show if all he was going to do was talk **** to Buck. I don't see the point in any of it.
Plus the final monologue was kinda stupid too. Oh well -
I thought the show was excellent.
Was great hearing from Favre, live, and as always Artie Lange was great to listen to. He made the last 15 minutes + the 10 minutes online hilarious, as did Paul Rudd and the other dude.
This is a show that is only going to air 4 times a year, I can't wait until September 22nd for the next episode. -
What do you guys think will happen on the next show? My guess is as offended as Joe Buck "claims" he was, the next show will be pretty lame. It's only gonna go down from this point.
-
Considering it's in 4 months, will he or anyone else give a ****?
-
Listened to Howard this morning. Artie was asked to "let it rip" by the show producer, and then they claim that they're offended. Too funny. Artie said that he got hugs and big thanks after, from Joe and the producer. Then Howard read the quotes that Joe was giving in the newspapers about Artie this morning...

Meh. This is pretty standard stuff for Artie. Why anyone would book him and expect different is beyond me. Pretty classless for them to rip him in the press immediately following it.
Also, I agree about it being contrived. Why else would they let him continue to be on the show for the online portion if they were that upset? I think Artie was hurt by the article from this morning and he laid into Buck and his producer HARD to prove his point.
Quite frankly, they should fire Buck and let Artie host the show. At least then it would be interesting throughout. -
We need a Politically Incorrect version of a sports show, something Best Damn Sports Show tried to do but couldnt.
-
I watched it last night.
The main thing I got from it, aside from the stuff Favre had to say, was that Jason Sudakis could probably more than hold his own against Artie if he had to.
What's interesting about Artie Lang? I mean, he's funny on roasts and he's a witty guy. The story he told about Jack Buck made me . But that doesn't make him interesting. He's too obnoxious and mean spirited for my taste.
Contrived or not, they made a huge mistake bringing him on. It totally derailed the show. -
Wasn't it all staged?
-
They should give Norm MacDonald and Artie Lang a show. Now that would be entertainment.
-
Artie Lange should have his own show on TV. He is amazing.
I missed Howard today because I overslept and I was too busy to listen to a rerun on 100 or the WC feed on 101, but I find it amazing that Buck bashed him in the press. He seemed quite fine with it last night. Way to go behind someones back.
Lange > Buck anyday. Buck is even a horrible sports commentator. Artie could probably top him at that too if he wanted to.
The only reason why I tuned it was to see Favre & Artie. I will tune in September 22nd, because I would hope they are going to have more interesting guests like them.
