Anyone else catch the series premiere tonight on FX?
Wasn't what I was expecting, and I was pleasantly surprised. The description in the channel guide was absolute crap...made it sound like it was set in the wild west.
I'm not crazy about the setting, but it's modern-day, gritty, funny and I'll be watching some more.

I enjoyed watching. dvr is now set to record.

I love the setting as Harlan, KY is literally less that an hour from where I live. So it's definitely interesting to have a show that close to home and especially in an area I've visited many times. Oh and the show isn't that bad itself. :)

Guess genuine location shooting is a thing of the past. -
ehh it just looks like some sort of modern Western

I liked it, but goddaman it, if it were on HBO or Showtime it would be AMAZING!

I was excited for it and it was good. And I agree if it were on HBO it'd be even better.
Oh and they mentioned my first hometown (Belle Glade, FL), though I grew up down the road in Clewiston. That's where the white supremacist alligator wrestler guy said he was from, that scene where he came to the house to bust up Tim Olyphant. -
Damn, I forgot to set my DVR.

Re: the second episode; saw it, liked it. The story arc is setting up nicely.
Having said that, the setting of the show is wearing on me already. I can't stand watching anything to do with ignorant people in podunk places, and this show is set right smack in the heart of that ****.
The story could keep me coming back for more, but I wonder how long. -
Yah digging this show. Me and my roomie are into it.

Watched the first couple of episodes, has a lot of potential, I really like it so far. Have to wait and see how things go.
