no thanks, too many concussions. I think we have visions of him playing well, especially against us.

I've heard all the talk about him being one decent hit from being brain scrambled for life. How do any of us really know that? Has anyone here seen his medical records, brain scans, etc? The Dolphins seem pretty cautious on medical issues. Whichever way they go on Robinson, I'll trust they have more info with which to make the decision than any of us do.

Who was it who was telling me he was way better than Brian Hartline a couple seasons back?

I truly see no reason to freak out about the WR's right now, while I was very excited about Binns I think McNutt will be just fine and Matthews will probably be ready before the opener anyways. I'd rather them focus their time on evaluating Tyms, Bumphis, Collins, Stafford etc

He's worth a look, why not?

Well, my legit reason for not signing would be giving the younger guys like McNutt or Fuller a real shot at playing, we rarely do let the youngsters see the field.
I really like Fuller, think he'd be worth giving a real shot as if you hit on him you will have the "next" not the "formerly good" -
-
The players we have competing to make the team at WR are good enough. Yes we lost Binns but rewind 12mths and see where we were. I want to see these young guns like McNutt and Fuller get their chance. We are in a better place than where we were last yr.

And tbh, would prefer Brandon Lloyd, think he can do as many things w/o the health risks

But then Hartline gets Tannehill. And Robinson goes from Romo to Gabbert/Henne. Definitely not saying I'd want Robinson starting over Hartline at the moment though. :wink2: -
Laurent Robinson got Blaine Gabbert plus a handful of concussions.

Well at this point take your guess as to who it was tried to convince Disgustipate that Robinson is better than Hartline, lol.
Wasn't me. I verified that much. But there seem to be a lot of folk who believe he was until he met Gabbert and a lot of dead brain cells. -
The odds of LR finishing a season are not where you would like them to be, he has entered the 'hold yer breath' when he gets hit category and it's always just a matter of time, or hits to be more precise, with those guys before they are missing time. Going forward with a young team I think there are many more viable options, no sense falling in love with his talent in TC only to see him missing time due to getting hit, that combined with the fact that he won't be in future plans I would pass.
-
I'm literally asking who it was. I've got an idea(of someone who hasn't posted yet), but it's probably been built up too much, especially relative to other crimes.

It is that the vast majority of his yards came on busted coverage and/or against inferior talent that would be a 4th corner at best on most decent teams.
That doesn't mean he's never made a great play. It doesn't mean he's never beaten a good corner. What it means is that most corners shut him down. I agree he will be a lot better as a #2 but I'd still look to upgrade as he doesn't bring a lot to the table IMO. -
