It's chickens**t to even say things like that. Don't get me wrong a good clean hit is a thing of beauty but going as far as saying "take him out" is a step over the line.

 

Mr. Jean-Francois shouldn't be surprised if one of the Pouncey boys blows out his knee. I don't mean that in a way that condones it, but you don't make that kind of statement about another team's beloved leader. And the Pouncey's are just the kind of boys that will take that comment and run with it.

 

That's dirty. I'm not a fan of the Gators nor am I fan of Tebow on the field but I would hate to see someone take him out. The guy is a great person whose fighting for his team every play. He even apologized, saying he would do everything he can to help the team. I don't know how one can make a statement like this or have this mindset, no matter how much you dislike the guy.

 

Yeah thats not a very smart comment to make. Pretty stupid to come out and say youre going to be trying to take a guy out of the game. Play like men, win because youre better than them, not because you intentionally took out one of their best players in order to make them a weaker team... thats pretty pathetic...

 

He has already said that he was misprinted and did not say that. However I don't know exactly what I believe. It does not matter anyway becuase he has already done more damage than anything. Florida's defense will rally behind Tebow and you don't think the defense won't be fired up? I can't wait for the game

 

We've heard quite a few players make that comment over the last season and a half. They all have something in common too, they lost. Now, I'm not saying its gonna be easy, Florida needs to step up for this game. But giving them bulletin board material isn't a good idea.

Sounds to me that they are looking to clean his clock w/a clean hit. Doesn't sound like they want to take him out w/a dirty play (a la Auburn on Glenn Dorsey).

Also getting a great hit on him might take him out of the game in the mental sense, not physical, and that might be what they mean. If he is thinking about the hits coming, rather then the play at hand, that would make a big difference in his play.
