Awesome.
They make you spend $60 for a game, and then right after they make you spend $xx.xx for an additional 3 DLC map packs, they unveil the next COD.

Hopefully better than MW2... that game had some of the most miserable online play I've experienced from a COD title.
-
Should be interesting to see how BF3 and MW3 stack up against each other. -
Have fun with it either way. Hope you enjoy the new maps. People complain about Madden being recycled, exactly what innovation has COD implemented over the last 3-4 titles that have changed the game with the exception of dual wield shotguns, rc cars, throwable knives, and a cross bow? Nothing.Fin-Omenal likes this. -
If you mean new maps from MW3, I'm sure I will enjoy them. I'm also sure I'll not pay $60 for it when it's all said and done (paid $48 for BO, got a $20 credit with it, and then traded it in for $30.75).
I'm also not one of the people who complain about Madden being recycled, so you're probably barking up the wrong tree. -

Stitches, where in my post was I referring directly to you? Get your panties ouuta the knot there bud.
And when I said have fun with it, I wasn't being sarcastic...
You guys are obviously fans of COD, and I have my own preferences. Let's leave our differences at that.
If you wanna pay however much you pay with credits and all that for a reskin, be my guest. I will be doing the same thing for Madden without a complaint.
Fps gaming for me now is Arma II until BF3 and PR:Arma II comes out. -
And btw, my point was the cod franchise has become all about the money with little to no game advances from the last 3-4 titles. The Madden of fps games. Whether you buy the game or not, love the game or hate it, is there any evidence opposing my view?
I am curious of the cod fans' opinion. -

I would think most companies would love to have a "Madden of ____ games" to publish each year. Also just because there is little upgrade/alteration/advancement it doesn't mean it isn't worth the cost if you get enjoyment out of it. -
Another Call of Duty. Meh. Infinity Ward, even more meh. I'll stick to BF3, and not a re-skin.

IIRC, Activision with Black Ops began a three year cycle: they have three different developers making COD games, and those developers will release their game once every three years. So we get annual COD games, but from different developers. -
Well, if it is anything like
I might give it a go. -

Multi… who cares, every online FPS sucks after the epic experience that was Quake 2. (Except maybe Team Fortress 2.)texanphinatic likes this. -

Either way, Assassin’s Creed Revelations is the one game to get in November. -

Modern Warfare 3 -

Sweet. Maybe PSN will be up by then so I can enjoy it.

This will be a dilemma. Hated MW2, love Black Ops. Will MW3 be more like MW2, or more like Black Ops?

I’m just hoping they finally get rid of the “shoot a guy 5 times but he’s still alive and physically functioning” thing. The continual off-screen respawns are annoying, too. But hey, CoD has had that since the first game, it’s doubtful they’d eliminate that now. -
